Hello, yayas! Enjoying a nice peaceful day before heading into work for a floor change tonight.

We were woken up by one child at 4 and the other at 6...but Benedryl helped Kevin get back to sleep and we were able to sleep until 10. That's the nicest valentine's gift anyone could give, LOL!

I hope everyone's day was nice. Pammycakes, I had to have something to take my Imitrex at the Studios, and the choco strawberries are divine! That and a root beer were strong enough flavors-that strawberry was as ripe as those in the field when I go picking them!

Nancy, Prayers and PD that the needle extraction goes well. That ring sounds awful nice I go for the simple stuff, too.

Rose Mary, I'll help you with the cleaning if you come and help me after we finish at your place!

Chicago meet sounds like lots of fun. I'm going to be getting lots of trips in this year, but they'll be all Florida, with a possible California trip in May. Just waiting to hear that the couple has the church for the wedding! Catholic wedding, they told us the date, but they haven't even spoken to the pastor yet!

Tara, tomorrow's the big day! Thinking pink for you and looking at all the adorable stuff he/she can wear that's in the store right now!

Todd, going to use similar tactics with Neil. "you will behave, or you won't go on this trip with Mommy"!!

Well, off to get some lunch...gotta bring it back in because the Daytona 500 is today. Suprisingly, Kevin isn't in there watching it with Daddy, Lion King 1 1/2 was more interesting!

I have been up to no good as usual....kind of feel a little under the weather this weekend...don't know if I am starting a cold or if allergies are trying to kick in.

DH is on his way to Panama for work and I have just dropped DS off to get his ride back to college.....DD and I will be home alone until late Thursday night.....trouble will be had....LOL

What a busy weekend for me!!! I was pleasently surprised witha trip to the Chicago Auto Show and dinner yesterday!! It was great fun!!!

I am so happy to see this Chicago meet coming together so nicely!!! Once I hear that some certain people have their travel arrangements made... I think I will post (or maybe Dan might be better at this) an official Chicago DIS meet for Friday night at Gino's for Pizza......LAINEY!!!!! Now you HAVE to go!! I am also working on some sightseeing ideas for Saturday and Sunday!! If anybody that is interested in anything special, please be sure to let me know and I can see if there are any deals or specials that might be helpful. Also, please let me know if you need a ride form the airport!!! I will gladly come and get ya!!! Also a thought...on those staying at the hotel...adjoining rooms might be nice for a place to have a party!!! Details, details!!! My head is jsut spinning with excitement!!! Todd and Amanda, when are you planning on coming in?

Anyway, that is the news here! All is well with the puppers. He is feeling much better!! Now he jsut needs a bath!!! He is not gonna be too happy about that....but I will!!

Bethie, hope you had some dairy queen for me....and Nancy, don't forget about eating that chocolate cake with ice cream for me!!

I feel so much better now!! I love living vicariously through others!!!!

DS was watching when they showed these chocolate fondue fountains. He wants to know if we can buy one. They were only about $4000

Liz-sounds like you had a nice weekend. Glad the pup is feeling better.

Kristy-Did they run the 500? Thought I read somewhere it was to be postponed until Mon. Guess it cleared up down in Daytona.

Hey everyone. Sorry Im just now posting but Ive been feeling kinda down lately and didnt want to bring the thread down with all this wonderful talk of Chicago.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. Dh and I dropped the kids off at our chruch for Parents Night Out and we went out to dinner and to a few stores. It was really nice. Felt a little weird not working at the church since we are so involved in the chldrens ministry. Dh and I actually felt very guilty leaving.

Liz glad to hear that Barkley is feeling better.

Nancy Prayers and good thoughts going out for your dh for tomorrow. Could you PM me the picture ya'll were talking about I could only find the boxer one on the thread.

Hi all!! WOund up going to my cousins for her 4th birthday party, then shopping for Luis and then finally got a litter maid for the cats. Hopefully they will like it! I need to get Gwenie to go look at it though to make sure she isn't scared to death.

Pam, I am glad you got a strawberry! I was going to suggest cutting one in thirds, eat the middle half and then glue the other two sides back together... she'd never know

We didn't go to the casino. DH changed his mind. We went to the Chinese buffet so he could load up on seafood.....which he did a mighty good job of and is now taking a nap

RM....Food TV had chocolate? I have seen those fountains. Suggested one to DS for the wedding. A bit cost prohibitive though.....but sure would be fun. I thought they could do that and not the $50 pp dinner. Sounds like a plan to me
