Morning everyone! Once Shep and I get motivated we are off to pick up items for the church spaghetti dinner we will be having in a couple of weeks.

The fun tent.....didn't work out last night. What actually happened was I went downstairs to watch television, then comes Cassie who decides she is tired and wants her back scratched so she lays on me. Then comes Mandy who decides she is cold and lays beside me. The comes Shep who sits at teh bottom. THE FAMILY LOVESEAT!!!!!!!!!! Good thing we are all small Shep always has good intentions, but if I am in the house the girls are right their with me. I remind myself that it won't be long and those days will be gone.

Dan....you meeting up with us in Chicago. I have to say that I preferred that Sub place you took us to over Ginos.

Nancy....if you pay for it what can they say. Just if it appear out of no where Then act like you know nothing about it.

Liz....great talking to you last night!

Okay...off to clean atleast one bathroom then ready to shop for meatballs and spaghetti

Morning all Poor dh went off to work while everyone else is home today. Yesterday was so pretty here sunny, clear and in the 50's. The ground however is still wet from our weeks of rain. We had a suprise b-day for my best friend yesterday (well one of them). It's her 40th b-day tomorrow, Told her to save her decorations since dh will be 40 in April, lol.
Boys and I might hit the mall today. I have to go get my wedding ring--they sent it in to have a couple of the small diamonds tightened since they were a little loose. Then I have been sick so its been there over a week ready to come home, lol.
Sounds like you guys are going to have a great time in Chicago. Wish I could join in but Connor's b-day is the 25th and our big trip is in June and we are scraping up every penny to go toward that. However Dec is looking pretty good for WDW again--so Liz pack your bags for that trip.
Amanda--luckily our little ones are about 50/50. Sometimes they want mommy and sometimes they want daddy. Evan (our 3 yr old) used to be a big time momma's boy (I had to fix his drinks or help him with whatever) if anyone else tried he had a cow, lol. Now he will let dh do more stuff for him.

Amanda-did you have to mention spaghetti and meatballs? I have been craving a nice, big plate w/parmesan cheese, garlic bread, making myself hungry.

Amanda, you are so right. Those days with your family are short as things will change as everyone grows. Good that you try to enjoy each moment you are given. You made me smile with fond memories of the "Family Loveseat"--what a great time in life.

The tent could work for a picnic today. I am sure they will have a great idea on how to put it to good use.

Amanda - you are so right about cherishing the moments with your little girls. I have been making several scrapbooks for my DD's high school graduation in June - from birth on - that's why I've been so scarce. The memories come flooding back as though those days were just yesterday. My Mom was looking at the photos and said, "Your kids can never say they weren't loved or did nothing!" We've packed a lot of living into their 18 and 15 years on earth!!

Liz - Gunny needs a bath - he's getting smelly again - how often do you bathe Barkley? Gunny just had one last week - must be the beagle smell...

Tile guys came in ripped up carpet had problems with kitchen floor left to get some tool and never came back???????
