Hey, Boo - what's your Valentine's Day plans? DH and DS are on a weekend camping trip with the Scouts...... so DH felt really bad about leaving me (same thing happened last year - the Scoutmaster must have a thing about not being around for V-Day) so he gives me $50.00 and tells me to go out to dinner with ....... MY PARENTS!!!

My Mom was bummed out - I think I was crashing their romantic celebration or something - DD just looked at me and rolled her eyes when I suggested that I go with her and her BF.

So my DH comes up with the brilliant idea that I go out with the Scoutmaster's wife..... ummmmmm...... maybe NOT!!!

I am going to prepare a nice dinner for the cat and dog instead....

Sorry...just got back and uuugh... I've been waiting to pick SO up from the Port Authority...he does not have a cellphone on him..he calls me from some payphone...my ringer must've been off(I don't know how that happened) and he leaves a message which is all static-y and i don't know exactly where in all of NYC he is..he says he'll wait at this unknown location for me to come get him...he's just going to leave it at that??? He doesn't want to get confirmation from me that I received this message... he's just going to stand around 9th Avneue or wherever waiting for the boo-mobile to show up? ANyway...this isn't the whole story...whatever...he just called and is going to come here on his own which is how we should've planned it in the first place(we were just going out etc.)...I'm just frustrated by so many different screwy miscommunications this week..
