Had a fun night last night with our friends.

My throat is sore this morning and I am hoping that I am not getting sick. UGH.

Today is my DS Jordan's 12th b-day! After church we're going to Golden Corral. That is where he picked for his b-day meal.

Well, I need to jump in the shower and then get the boys up and moving.

Got neighbor Super Bowl party today. We look forward to the winter event. Stopped following football as close as I used to after Browns debaucle here. Now it's no longer a "sport" to me it is a business and all of the players are not team members, but employees. Enjoy looking at the commercials. Those writers have some brilliant minds to come up with all the new stuff year after year. It amazes me.

Sherry, I hope it doesn't get any worse for you. That was one of the symptoms I had. Perhaps Pam can rustle up some of her famous "chicken-tasting" Roadkill soup to make you feel better.

CS, sorry that you didn't get your visit. At least you can communicate and you know that the time will come. Right now the sacrafice will be worth it as you have the rest of time together.

CS, are you able to go visit him at all yourself? That way he doesn't have to drive after a long day at work. 1.5 hours is a bit far, but not awful around here.

I also turned off the computer early last night and watched a movie with DH. It was funny, Elaine I was LOL a lot! DH was disappointed in the amount of time his "sweetie" was on the screen

Morning. Boy, it sure is frustrating to not be able to use the reply to post links! I'm using internet exploder today, and I hate that.

So, Elaine and Nancy have Imagestation? I'm annoyed...my ISP provides me with 10meg of web hosting, but they don't provide any way for me to uplink. I've got stuff I want to get up (and would love to put pictures in my siggy), but I have yet to find the time to get the best software to do it. Perhaps imagestation is the temporary answer...still doesn't answer the webpage thing.

So, I've been wanting Hooters buffalo shrimp all week. Last night, Ed and I talk about this and decide we'll hit there for lunch. Kev comes down this morning and says I had a dream about Hooters last night...proceeds to tell us all four of us were there, eating lots of shrimp! Ed's family is really 'connected', as we put it, and Kev seems to be the same way...he was really concerned about Ed's sis when she was going through chemo, seemed to know the bad days.

So, where was everybody? I did a dance, in the cold, nekkid and no one bothered to get out of bed! Geez, am I that scary looking?!

Suzanne, I also have some space on my ISP server... check with them because you might need to use an FTP client to get to it. I know ours does. I don't use them all the time though because I run out of room fast... I do use them for my sig though ANd naaa... you aren't that scary looking, we were all off last night cuddling in our warm beds

I suppose everybody is watching the Super Bowl huh?

Well, so far I have managed to keep a pretty low profile today and have helped Greg's niece finish her science project and that is about all.

When I got home, we went grocery shopping, cooked some steaks on the grill and got into my jammies. Yes, it is not even 6 pm and I am in my jammies!!!


We had a great day yesterday. The show was fabulous, the food was fantastic and the company was a lot of fun. I feel much better after a day out. Also, it was quite nice here today as well, and the was shining. I think that helps a lot.

Nancy and Elaine, I had no idea someone had to host my photos....nor do I even understand what that means, so please fight amongst yourselves.... But a huge thanks to both of you for helping with my pics.

Lily and Kristy, enjoy your parties!!! Hope somebody wins lots of ca$h in a pool!!!

Poohzanne, please eat some shrimp for me. That sounds so YUMMY!!!! Sorry we all missed your dance!!!

Karen, were you able to get a nap in today? I may have gotten a little shut eye for you!! Just don't tell the others It has been a while since I have taken a nap for anybody. Hope you are feeling better real soon!!

Hola!

The trip to Hooters was fun. I got way too much food, but it was still yummy! I have to make my baked potato soup the way they do, with an onion soup base-yum!

I just got an email back from Mouseplanet. One of my trip reports is going to be posted on their site soon. This is the second. I'm working on two of the other trips I took last year to post them. Its all in a quest to make sure I have more returns for my name on google, lol!

Seems like everyone is elsewhere today...

I'll be back tomorrow night after I do my taxes. I'm going to rough draft it with my last paystub of 2003 and efile as soon as I tweak the numbers. I just wish my employer was one of those that had the w2's available electronically!

Liz yep I got a nap in today a pretty long one. I was completely shot and just shut down. I was taken off one of my meds for my fibromyalgia that also helped me sleep. They took me off of it because my heart rate is WAY too high. My resting heart rate is 112. So far no change in heart rate but my sleeping is HORRIBLE even with a sleeping pill. I did much better with the Elavil for my fibromalgia. Im going to call my doctor tomorrow and let him know there has been no change in my heart rate and see if I can go back on it. I can't not sleep or I will end right back up in the hospital. Im still recouping from bilateral pneumonia and status asthmaticus.

We have the game on but Im not watching it. I have been setting up my desk to handle both my computer and my meditation stuff. Unfortunately the only place in the house where my feet hit the floor....Im incredibly short....is my computer chair and my feet must hit the floor in order to ground myself for meditation. Thanks to Elaine I have two beautiful pictures of Jesus to use for meditation. She resized them for me. I also bought a beautiful one at the christian bookstore.

Not sure when Beth gets home. I keep watching for her on AIM but Im not sure she will even get on the computer if she got home today. I am so excited to hear about her trip. She did call me once while she was there and I was so happy to hear that the concierge did something special for them. Im just so tickled that she and Dave had this trip where they didnt meet anyone where they could just do whatever their heart desired.

Hi, kiddies!!! We're hoooooome!!! We had a lovely, lovely couple of days all to ourselves at WDW. The Polynesian is lovely and we even got to see the Wishes fireworks show from the concierge lounge there--what an awesome sight!!! This trip was our anniversary trip to ourselves and some people made it very, very special for us. A huge thank you to Karen and her family--they knew how special this trip was and they had champagne sent to our room!!! We went back out and when we came back, there was yet ANOTHER bottle of champagne, a single red rose in a vase with ferns and babies breath, a plate with a white chocolate Mickey & Minnie bride and groom on it, 6 chocolate truffles, and it said Congratulations on the plate--written in chocolate!!! There was also an big chocolate postcard with a pic of the Polynesian on it!! OMG!!! We were simply blown away!!!! And to top it all off, when I unpacked my suitcase, I found a piece of lingerie hiding in there that I didn't pack!!! Ummm......white silk, lace, pink and red hearts??!!! Hooooo-boy!!!!!

We had overcast skies the whole time we were there, but we didn't let it dampen our mood one little bit. Had some sprinkles of rain on Friday afternoon and then real rain most of the day Saturday. In fact, we watched Fantasmic thru a good downpour--at least until they shut the show down due to inclement weather!! Dry sox never felt so good!!!! When we got back to our room, I just changed into my jammies (the ones I packed!) and threw on my robe and went down to the lounge. A nice hot cup of coffee with Grand Marnier, Kahlua and a splash of Bailey's (for color!) and I was finally getting warmed up again! then Wishes started and they turned off the lights--what a magical end to a soggy day!!

Going to turn the 'puter over to Dave now--he's got his pictures to upload from the weekend. LOL!!! We didn't take any of each other!!!! So, good night, sweet friends. I'll be chatting with you again tomorrow!
