Sherry, glad to know that Jay is alive then I was a bit shocked when he didn't come out for nekkid dances as well... but oh well.

As for Bonnie and Jodie, I think they rarely are found on the DIS anymore. I have seen a post or two here or there, but this place just isn't "home" to them I think...

Rose Mary, I'll pass on to Betty that you were thinking of her as well... I know she was not online as much (I bug her via other means mostly now) but I'll make sure she knows she was brought up here... I have yet to see a Sketti doll in person though

Hey - I roasted a turkey and had all the trimmings on Sunday! I can cook, you know. In fact, we're having pork chops and chicken tonight! So neener, neener to all the meaners!!

Have to head into the main office. It's in the 50s here and raining.... blah... The cat and dog have spirng fever - they are in and out, in and out..... then chase each other all over the house - Precious hisses and swipes at Gunny - and of course - he gets scared and pees.... then scratches the door to tell me he has to go potty! The nut....

Elaine....it was such a wonderful show!!!! Total show was 2 hours 45 minutes. Clay sang for an hour..and he was the headliner here..not sure if he will be there or not. They switch off show to show. You're going to love it!!! He made my heart go pitter patter

Okay this will be a really dumb question... how the heck do you know who the headliner will be for your concert? I truly don't want to go to see Kelly at all, but since she's there...

Yes I picked up the stuffed animals last night. There are some really cute ones in there but most of them look pretty girly to me since most are holding hearts and flowers--stuff like that. I was thinking of removing some of the hearts and flowers on some of them so then the boys will be excited about them too. Having boys I know they dont like things that look girly. Even Evan, who is only 4, will look at something and say "thats for girls". I dont want the boys to feel left out.

Another vote for a Kitchen Aid stand mixewr. Love it!! Great for cookies!! And many other things too.
But I like my food processor too......just don't use it as much.

Cold here this morning.....but that means clear skies, so hopefully it will warm up.

got to go get DH breakfast and then off for errands today.

Ok! Thanks for all the feedback on the appliances...there ARE so many neat things out there that'd really cut cooking and prep time!! And I don't bake that much but that's probably bc I don't have that Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer! I wonder if any experts out there have any opinions on the Cuisinart MINI processor...is it just too small to be useful?

And it's interesting about towels and linens...I wasn't too sure about including those things, I guess you go through them faster than you'd imagine?

I'll continue the Sketti vigil too! Thanks for the update on her Bethy.

Well I hate to just breeze in and breeze out...just consider this a big bumpity bump until someone else pops in.

Hey all!

Well, we were going to do our taxes this morning, but our neighbor stopped us as we were getting in the car and asked if we wanted to see their new baby. So, of course we went (she's adorable) and ended up talking so long that we didn't have time to go do our taxes. So, we'll hopefully get to that tomorrow.

Youngest DS walked in the door about a half an hour ago...said he didn't feel well, walked into the kitchen (where I was at) and puked all over the floor.

ooo...Boo...sorry I missed the kitchen appliance chat. I don't have the MINI cuisinart but I have the medium one. It's great b/c it comes with a blender top too. Very handy item...IF you're willing to give up counter space. My problem is I don't feel like digging it out of the cabinet when I could just chop the stuff up right where it is. I also begged for a kitchen aid and never got it. We LOVE our crockpot and Foreman' grill. Also...ask for more pots and pans versus skillets. Oh...and something else we got that's great is the blue pasta boiler...it has a twist on lid with drain holes...love it for cooking sketti and bowtie's

Todd pay attention here....I just booked a room down at Atlantic Beach 5/4-5/10 for $95.00 a night. It's a HUGE steal. It's called the Atlantis Lodge. Couldn't remember what month you're traveling in...but figured I would tell ya

Ummmm... actually Elaine and Jeannie - I only allow 1/2 week each for Easter and Anniversary - so *technically* I am nice/good/kind/sweet for 3 weeks out of 52.....

Jeannie - since the kitchen is my LEAST favorite room in the house and since I NEVER used our blender, DH chopped up carcasses for bait - I respectfully decline answering any of your questions....

Kristy - ooohhh, I think we all got our hands slapped there - and not very tactfully, too!!

Sherry - great news that DH has rejoined the work force! Hope something on day shift opens up soon for him.

Well - I am off in 35 minutes to carpool DS as he does another night of conducting OA Elections for the Council.. Last night it was a 40 mile roundtrip - tonight is around 30 miles.... this goes on until April 21st - although not every night.
