Liz, hope things were better for ya last night. I got up so early today as if I were going to work…what’s with that? So, I went back and took an extra ½ hour nap this a.m. just in case for you.

Nancy, PD your way. How soon will it take before you learn results? That waiting part is just endless no matter how long it is.

Reverse raffle Friday evening was a nice time. Made it down to the last 10 where everyone got some sort of prize. We did not win the big $. Got dinner and a car wash…oh boy.

Yesterday’s gambling with the gals trip to Windsor Canada was quite fun! Nope, I didn’t win there either. Started out with a breakfast meeting, a 2 ½ hour bus ride there. It cost us $17 for the bus (plus whatever you gave to the driver for a tip) and we got vouchers for $20 to use at the casino. One of my friends won about $800 U.S. total, so she treated for lunch. Then the bus ride home took about 3 hours as we had a bit of a “delay” due to another of my friends. She was almost detained in Canada—whew!

We have a play today “I Love You You’re Perfect, Now Change!” Right now I think I would rather veg out as I am feeling that I still am a bit under the weather. Can’t wait til this leaves me and I feel 100% again. Go to doc on the 19th for physical; if I’m not on my game by then I guess I will pursue things.

The Canada story: GF was in emergency room this week with what she thought was a heart problem (turned out she has hiatal hernia). Anyway, during the diagnosis she took a nuclear dye stress test mid week. This residual in her body set off the scan as the bus was proceeding through customs and they pulled over the bus and took her off. What an amazing thing and a major dose of reality we all had. After time she was let back on, the bus proceeded back home, and we all have stories to tell now.

WHAT A BUSY WEEKEND I HAD!!!!! My niece had her grand opening of her gym yesterday (my DS and I made 3 cold-cut platters for her, along with 5 dozen rolls, which we had to cut in half), we went to 6PM mass instead of going on Sun morning, followed by Pasta Nite at our church, and I had to be at my son's HS by 7:30 this morning to work at the "Project Graduation" pancake breakfast....boy, am ah tahr-dddddd!

Nope Kimmar completely forgot about it....was cussing myself this morning....hoping I can find a video capture of it online.

I'd be tired too if I were you.....take a nap....hope you can take a breather soon.

Liz--Just woke up from a little afternoon siesta. Will that help any?

Doncha just love folks that send cards in the mail with stuff inside! I received one special valentine that just kept giving and giving! I left it on the counter and you know, DH found stuff inside and said he had to sweep the floor. Mom did the same thing. I'm telling ya some cards are like ever ready batteries...just keep going and going...

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!! Pammycakes misses me!!!!I miss you, too, sweetums! Got some cute scrapbook things at WDW last weekend!! If I can ever get my craft table cleaned off, I will get to work on my Disney Christmas album! Hope ya'll are safe and warm--if not, just throw another fur on the bed.

Liz, dear, I must confess--that double lutz I did on the way to the car last week was really a double klutz My skating talent is not something we want to show in public, believe me! Your snow sounds sooooo pretty, but I agree, enuff is enuff! Ours still isn't all gone, despite the rain we had. It got cold again last night and we have more frozen stuff out there

Bella, how ARE you??!! How is this semester coming along for you? Still playing kissy-face with the same fella? Pants suit or street-length skirt/dress is just right for an afternoon wedding. Last one I went to, I wore a sleeveless dress with a sheer printed blouse over the top like a jacket.

Oh shoot---there goes the dryer.......

My momma always told me...shake first...open second...over a garbage can if you can hear it move!!! Third...remove "shaking stuff" from card before it gets all over everything!!!

Hi all... got some stuff done today... made it to Target and got a good mix of needed and fun stuff... found two CDs that I knew I'd like for $10 each (Coldplay and Harry Connick Jr. yeah, I know weird mix) and just some other stuff. Laundry is started and life is good

OK, managed to salvage all the perm. press stuff and it is now hanging nicely in the closet where it belongs. Except for my khakis I don't like 'em that wrinkled.......sigh.....a load of towels and one of sheets and I'm DONE!!

Yes, Lainey, it really IS laundry--DH is working this weekend Glad you found some more music you like! Life without music is like Raisin Bran without raisins.....very, very bland!!! BTW, picked up the Beringer White Merlot--still sweeter than I like. But not disgusting, so I'll finish the bottle before going back to the White Zin. You are quite right about the smoothness, though. Very nice!!

Liz, just cuz momma told you about shaking before opening doesn't mean it is a requirement that you put the shakey stuff in your cards!!! But, I gotta admit... I really got a kick out of it, actually!!

Oh Kimmar, I need a nap after reading about your weekend!! although, truth to tell, mine was almost as busy!!

CS, I am sooooooo hoping your DBF makes it in this weekend! It's been waaaaaaaaaaay too long that we've been waiting and you've been soooooooooo patient! Finally...Im back. Crappy weekend. I am still sick and I guess from cleaning up after everyone else all week it finally did me in. I felt horrible Friday & Sat. Slept from 9pm Friday night to 8am Sat (when Connor woke me up). Still felt bad and just laid around all day. Feel a little better today but not a lot. On top of that our cable was out. The tech just left--said someone turned it off at the pole Then I told him there was another cable company out here Friday trying to get people to sign up. I guess they did that.
Beth I just got my first bunch of scrapbook stuff last week. Im taking a beginner class on the 18th to get some ideas.

Good luck with your home work Kristy!!! Weddings can be so expensive all around... even if you are not really in the wedding. In my case I half am so I save on the dress but I pay the rest

I don't think I've ever had the white Zin by Beringer but most White Zin's I have had are almost too sweet to me... they are about as bad as drinking wine coolers to me... I have some Sutter Home White Merlot though so I want to see if that one is sweeter or not. Funny how the same types of wines can taste so different though.

Sorry that you are still not feeling well, Deena, but glad you popped in. I hope that you are feeling better soon and that everyone in your house gets well soon! Sucks about your cable too... would be really cruddy if that other cable company did that!

Wow...you got lucky on that one! I had my girls pay for their dresses, but I paid the hair and makeup fees.

Deena, hope you feel better soon!!! I'd call the bad cable company and threaten to turn them in to the FCC...what they did is just WRONG!

Kristy, I am not an official bridesmaid so the dress that I will buy will just be about 1/2 or less most likely than what the others will. I will have to pay for my make up though (doing the hair myself). And then there's the room I will have to have for the weekend wedding... not to mention the shower & gifts... it starts to add up even when you aren't a BM!!!

My girls got lucky, I found their dresses on sale for $25 each and so I bought them and said to them to forget complaining because I didn't want to hear it I offered to let them get their hair done but none took me up on that... they were all not that well off at the time so they just did it themselves... and I even paid for my Man of Honor's tux. So they were all lucky and didn't have to spend a dime on the wedding (not even travel costs, unless they drove).

Looks like today's snowmelt is tomorrow's skating rink. We had a high today of near 40º and it's already down to 28º. Sheesh.....
