Thanks Tara, unless a miracle occurs between now and 9 am tomorrow, I don't see how anything that a vet or pet person hasn't suggested. We had her in the room for one hour with the door closed and she wouldn't stop shaking. I don't know what else to do that we haven't researched (and trust me that is one thing I did research before I even got Luis to agree to a pup). This also means I will have to find a way to deal with her when Cleo goes... but by then maybe something will have changed... though I will not lose a deposit on a dog again

Luis is very supportive and sad too. We really took to Celia... she's a sweetie and I am so sure someone will love her and have a home where it will be perfect.

I just wish I could hug my Bug... that breaks my heart. More than anything else for me to realize what I put her through. Funny, the dog was for her too... so she could play with someone else. I suppose I'll have to step up more and play the way she needs.

Do you have a time limit to take the puppy back? Two days really isn't enough time for an adjustment to happen....but of course, your decision. You know better what is going on.

Nancy, unfortunately it is 48 hours or lose all your money She cost too much to do that and then have it fail. If Gwenie hadn't shaked so bad, been too afraid to go to her kitty litter and hadn't been hiding out under the bed not letting me pet her or hold her (totally abnormal) as well as look at us and plead to let us let her leave the room with a sleeping (not even a whimper the whole time she was there) pup, I'd say yeah. Luis is more worried about me resenting Gwenie than anythign else, including the money we'll lose on a deposit (which trust me, bugs me, but I love Gwen... she's my baby girl... my Little One). But even seeing how Cleo was (which usually stops any scared/unsure behavior) just didn't work. Luis has been researching all evening for us. Maybe as she gets older we might some day get to try it (like 7 years from now) but in the mean time, I don't see how it will work when even squirrels on the roof are scaring her to death. Any creek and she cowers and quivers (and that's up here and obviously so NOT her at all... not in the least!!!). If it were her being cautious (as Cleo is) I wouldn't care... but not eating, going to the bathroom and not trusting me... too much. And I admit, I don't have enough in me to do the pup training, get Gwenie good and take care of a house. Two of three is fine, but not adding in how upset Gwen is.

Luis will be removing everything tomorrow. If I can't keep her, I can't let her stay any longer. That would break my heart more than it is.

Oh I am too But, better for us to have seen really bad signs now than too late. Sadly, as time went on she got more afraid. She was curious at first last night, but as time went on... poor thing The vet had even suggested a dog or a male kitten for our house with the two (years ago). We'll get over it though, and our house will be happy. I'll just have to find time (and protection from cuts ) to play with Gwenie more as Cleo gets older. And deal with all that when it happens. Gwen is just such a gentle soul, but that's why I love her so very much!!!!!!! We knew she'd have issues, we just never dreamed she'd regress *this* much in 36 hours. The first night must have scared her something fierce.

Karen, massage therapy is great. I've had neck issue for years, and I have had a massage therapist work on me about a half dozen times. Set up that appointment.

Ahh, Rosemary, thanks for the clarification on the Salute. Nope, I'll pass-I do the hard stuff, but goldslager is like drinking close up toothpaste to me!

Tara, Ethan is getting so big...what are you feeding that child?

Tired girl here, was at work for floor move until 11:30, then was yakking with a CM outside for another hour and a half! I've been known to do that

Elaine...I'm so sorry that Celia has to go back. But you have to do what's best for your other babies!!

Yes Ethan is getting big! The boy eats like a horse. He eats more for breakfast than his big brother. The thing is he is not fat. He has the baby paunch and that's about it. Now Ella on the other hand! That girl has rolls on top of rolls!! She has more creases in her legs than a wrinkled pair of pants!!! She's a chunk!!!

Happy labor day all! I'm going to watch some news, work on some lesson plans and then cut the grass when it dries. Then I think we are going to head out (for the first time all weekend) and go to Lone Star steak house for dinner. They are donating 100% of their profits to the ARC, so we will go there and do our part. Not much, but hey its something!

Happy Labor Day.

Ive been up and down for awhile.

Nothing much planned for today. Gonna just take it easy. We were supposed to go to a park so my eldest could practice softball but it looks like its getting cloudy and rainy again.

Thanks all... glad you understand. I was up half the night with Gwen... she wouldn't stop shaking. The pup is gone... Luis returned her and we removed all her things and febreezed and lysoled the house. Gwen is still scared, but at least she wandered more... and I got her to use the litter box.

It hurts, but it was right.

We're all kind of sad, but give me a day or so and I'll be back to myself I am sure.

We never dreamed that instead of getting better from the first night (and I was optimistic) she'd get worse. I just feel so bad since this was my idea... bad for Cleo, Gwen, Luis and definitely the pup. She's so cute, she'll go home soon with someone I know!

Off to chez target in a few to go get Neil's prescription filled. No OCD meds is a baaaaaaaaaad thing!

Think I'm going to get together some of the Halloween costumes to ebay. Not wearing any furry costumes anymore, lol! Tigger, Bullseye and a bunch others are going...having a hard time parting with the Mrs Incredible, but I roasted in that costume last year!

I buy a bunch of stuff on ebay, but I've only sold costumes! I think if you go through my purchasing history, every last item I've purchased is disney. Nah, I don't have a sickness.

Probably going to change out the toppers today. Should grab the tub and see what I feel like. You may see a siggy change later, lol!

Enjoying it being a fairly lazy day.

Hey all... had a chance so I wanted to stop in and say hi Sorry I haven't been around much... work has been super busy the last few weeks... I had hoped it would calm down but it just seems to keeping getting busier... then when I get home.. I feel like avoiding the computer for the most part after dealing with one all day

Suzanne, I can relate to everything you buy on e-bay being Disney I think that is true for me too with a couple exceptions (bought some cat furniture on there when I first got my kitties)... at least 9 out of 10 things I get on e-bay are Disney Haven't sold anything yet though... have some stuff I should sell Mostly non-Disney stuff of course to sell only Disney stuff to sell are a few pins I forgot I had so ended up with more then one of them >_< hehe

Here's a story for you:

I worked in the yard all day and when I was done i went to take a shower.
While in the shower I decided that I wanted to really clean my face so I hollered for Jarrod to come up to the bathroom. I told him what I wanted and where to get it from and to tell grandma for me.

A minute later mom comes up to the bathroom and says "What is a microwave abrasion kit and where can I find it?" I almost slipped in the shower I was laughing so hard. So I explained that it was a Microderm abrasion kit and it was in the Mary Kay cabinet!!!

I finally got it and now I have very smooth skin!! hehehe
