Awww, Suzanne, so sorry to hear it's going to cost you yet more money to go after your former landlord. She is a real piece of work, I must say!! Yay for Ed and the job and Yay for you moving to the store closer to home!! I'm thinking I might have to institute something special at our store for birthdays and such......

heheh i guess i dangled my participle yesterday. We will one friday go scrapping but we didn't last night. Was supposed to go drinking but I got dissed!! oh well! Oh and we cut the steak in half and split it!! The kids couldn't wait so they got hot dogs!!

Jarrod is now upstairs throwing a temper tantrum because I put him to bed. He obviously doesn't think 9pm is a good bed time!! heheh oh well!

Hi all, Celia sleeping, and my cats are adjusting okay. Actually Cleo is exactly what I hoped for and Gwenie is venturing out on her own. She's sniffing and even did some cute rolling on the carpet while Celia was in her crate... we'll get along great here eventually.

Awww, Suzanne, it is well beyond time for Ed to get back there!!! I haven't been back since May and it is almost killing me

Nancy, it has to be way more than a voice Otherwise I don't know what she would see in him

Sherry, I'm so happy with the game! Sure would've liked it more if they didn't score at all, but scoring on our third string isn't awful! Just hope next week goes well!

Karen, guys with animals are fun. He is such a silly boy. When I saw him smiling at Celia's stubby little tail wagging, I knew he was bought. He kept saying though "you owe me big!!!!!"
I told him fine, no more talk of bikes again. I have a puppy, why do I care about a motorcycle now

Oh Elaine your little Celia is just toooooooooooooooooo cute!!!! Im glad she and the kitties are getting along so well. Oh I just wanna cuddle that little cutie. Dh said the same thing to me when we got the ferret but guess who plays with him more and has more fun with him??? Yup dh!!!! Poor ferret thinks his name is beanie butt because thats what dh calls him.

Karen those pictures are just tooooooooo funny. I swear I think you should show them to Disney!!

Morning All,

Up early as I have to get ready for church. Today is promotion Sunday so we have a lot going on and I have to be there. The kids all get promoted to the next grade and the sixth graders get escorted up to youth. Not so happy about my eldest being in youth. They seem to let those kids run the church and that bothers me. He is there to get biblical training not to be a hellion. If I see it happening with him I will just ask Jane if he can do some of his community service for school by helping out with Kidz Church. He will still be learning but also earning some of his 24 hours of community service he needs.

Ever hurt youself and have absolutely NO idea how you did it? I have this nasty ole scrape on the inside of my left knee and I have no idea how I hurt it. You would think I would remember that bad a scrape LOL.

Has anyone done or is doing the 40 days of Purpose at their church? Its based on the book the Purpose Driven Life. We start it next week and I was wondering about it. Each person gets the book free and then we meet to talk about it. Normally its done at biblestudy but since the kids church staff works kids church during that time we are having a special meeting at 5 pm on Sundays.

Elaine can I cuddle your puppy Please???? She is sooooooo cute.

Ms Tiera Im not sure if you saw it before but we are staying at the same resort at the same time. I would love to get together with you and the kids. Even if we just meet for ice cream for the kids and java/or the cabana bar for us. I would love to meet you and mom and I also owe both of you big hugs for last years hurricane season.

Well I guess I better start getting clothes ready and kids up. Gonna try not to be late for set up again this week.

Im being a very bad girl and wearing jeans and sneakers to church. I just feel the need to be comfortable. Of course its my catholic upbringing which told me you DRESS for church and is causing me the guilts LOL. Im tired now and wearing froofoo dress clothes would just aggitate me no end. Im there even though Im not supposed to be and thats whats important....not what I chose to wear. LOL I think Im trying desperately to convince myself its okay. How am I doing?? ROFL!!!!!

Morning all... didn't sleep all that much last night, but oh well. The puppy's sleeping again in her crate. She really is craving love in general, so it is a bit rough getting her to fall asleep in her crate (instead of falling asleep next to me then me picking her up). She is young, so it'll be tougher, but I'd rather this time to socialize her. She's so sweet though, we can't help but love her even when she does "mess up"

I think I'm gonna hop in the shower and get ready for church while she's sleeping and then I'll take her out before we leave then crate her again

Suzanne, I hope you get a dog if you want one. This was about a 5 year "ongoing discussion" in this house.

Nancy, even though you don't see as much as you like, you did get some awesome shots! Well the last two are just awesome because I still cannot fathom how large that plane is!! But the whale... that is a neat one all the same!

Karen, I've read the book (been a while) and I am mixed on how I felt about it. It was decent, but at the same time, I just thought it was (oh dear how does one put it) kind of fluffy in some ways. Like they expected you just to take what they said and go with it. Not bad, but not the best.
Oh and what's with that part of Catholic guilt? I wear jeans & non dress shoes every week to church

Elaine the Catholic Church I went to as a kid demanded that you dress for church. You were not worthy to be there if you were not dressed up. It was considered to be an affront to God if you didnt dress to be in his house. Thats where all the guilt comes from. Im glad very glad to see that things have eased up. Now I dont feel so guilty about wearing jeans and sneakers.

Thank you for the critique on the Purpose Driven Life. We dont get into it until next week and I wanted to get some opinions on it...to see what others thought about it. I appreciate you being so honest about how you felt about it.

Morning all! Big day today--choir is back in the loft after being off for the summer and today is my first "fully on my own" day at the store. I feel like a little kid heading out for the first day of school--the bit of trepidation coupled with the excited anticipation! Wondering if I will EVER grow up......Nah..don't wanna!!!

Karen, I've worn capris and flip flops almost every Sunday this summer. Our church is very laid back.

My inlaws got a house (well, they are renting for now) in FL, so they are leaving next Sunday. Junior is going with them to help them drive down and unload everything. The cheapest flight they could get back was the 21st, so I have 10 days by myself with the boys. I'm gonna have to be sent to the funny farm by the time Junior gets back.

Beth-Good luck on your first day on your own. You can do it! When they asked me to come up to P'sacola from Miami I said sure, then when they told me I was going to run the site I was excited at first. then thought about it and almost had a panic attack. Luckily we are busy so I have time to get the hang of it.

Looks like rain.....maybe a movie? Nah...I swore no weekend movies until the painting was all done.

Elaine, a baby will be a baby. When we had that little puppy for 3 days, it was constant attention or he cried.
But it does get easier as they adjust.

Okay, this salute to germany sounds interesting. Is it a wine flight in Sommerfest? Let me know the day! That place is responsible for Ed and my love of German wines. BTW, my favorite place to view IllumiNations is in front of Germany, with a glass of wine and a piece of black forest cake.

Karen, yeah, I know about that catholic guilt thing. Then I joined a church where people came in shorts and our (wonderful) pastor was so happy and welcoming that I got over my guilt. Figured if he's happy to see them in shorts, than it's probably okay that I don't wear a froufy ddress.

I work today, thenn have two off. Tuesday morning, the principal will be dealing with Hurricane Suzanne. We're fed up with the general classroom teacher marking Neil's tests based on the fact that he didn't write his reasons on his math tests. One, he got the right answer, two it says RIGHT IN THE IEP that he uses the alpha smart or dictates! She doesn't like us, she doesn't want him in her class, she's got a chip on her shoulder and doesn't realize we can be her biggest help-but if she doesn't take it, we're not going away.
