Good morning all

Glad you all liked the pictures Yes, those are mosaics. They are scatered all around the park... I didn't get pictures of all of them unfortinatly :\ They had people send in pictures from trips to Disneyland (and maybe Disneyworld too... not sure)... and then they turned those pictures into the mosaics. If you sent in a picture and they used it, they would tell you where it was so you could go find your picture.

I absolutely love Disneyland... which is kinda "well duh"... but I remember before going for the first time I had heard lots of people say how they thought Disneyland was disappointing after going to Disney World. I wasn't disappointed at all and it is probably my favorite Disney park; obviously, it is smaller so you don't have MK, AK, MGM, and Epcot and it is definitely different but I love it. The only thing that really shocked me the first time was how small the castle was compared to MK... but it has its own charm... Some year I plan to move out to CA and then I will try to get at least a part time job at Disneyland

Imagestation is down so no DL picture viewing for me.

Whale watching was wonderful......3 pods.....about 75 whales. They were all around the boat. But, it was hard to get good pictures, as soon as they came up and the camera was pionted, down they went.
I'll look later and see if anything is worth posting.
The OR trip was okay....more of a Dave trip.
We stayed in an historic inn which was nice. Went to a movie.
The Aviation museum was okay Lots of planes But....the Spruce Goose was incredible. Again....pictures were hard. It was so big, it wouldn't fit in a picture. The museum was built around it
Then a trip to a wood worker's store
Dave added a business trip day on, so free room and stay in Portland was good.
I went to the zoo (ours is better ), a trip to a mall (ours is better ).

Sooo....today is house cleaning, unpacking and laundry.

Good to be home. I missed my kitties

Welcome back, Nancy! Whale watching sounds awesome, even if they were camera shy!

Oooh, gotta go check out Jon's pics as a precursor for our trip. Decided that we'd do March of '06-then some of the tax refund money can fund the trip! And that means possibly staying at one of the DL resorts...although, I have a free night at a Radisson from my gold card points.

In a grumpy mood over stuff. Been reading, not much posting...don't want to bore you all with my annoynances.

I admit I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't near as in love with DL as much as I am WDW... a large part is due to my feelings on people/crowds I think though Funny though, I was just dreaming about DL last night... I bet your pics sparked something with me

Jon, I love the pic of Moosake! He is just wonderful looking. Might have to add that for DH. Love your DL pics too. That is about as close as I expect I'll ever get.

Nancy, even if the pics don't come out postable, sounds like you had a good time. I would love to see a whale in its envrionment, let alone many pods. Sounds like beautiful scenic trip even if part of it was DH's trip.

Suzanne, hope things improve to cause your mood to get better. Maybe the DL planning will do the trick.

Pam, thanks for the life line. I kinda like sittin’ on the dock. It’s real nice here and I figure if you toss a line once in a while I’ll jump on some.

I just finished reading the first book in the Mitford Series last night. A friend gave it to me so Mom could read it. I think I’m gonna go to the library and pay all my fines. Then I can get the secong book out from that series and put it on that there fines list. No luck yet with my hard drive data retrieval. Sigh, still feeling down about that.

Nancy, I had that same dialog an oh so long ago time. Don't know why either bc everyone else could get online. I don't remember, but maybe cleaning out your cookies/history or something in that tools drop down and starting over might help. Not sure bc I really don't understand if this is what worked for me. Good luck figuring it out.

Elaine, feel better. I'm going through the allergy thing with the high reading on the mold counts here. That is my allergy with dust too oh so fun.

Hi y'all... didn't sleep much at all last night so guess what I did this morning
Now eating cold pizza before watching Dukes of Hazzard

Lily, I kind of wonder the cold was made much worse because of the allergies. It's been really bad here too. I really shouldn't have been hit this hard with a silly head cold (only chest colds knock me out that much) so I really do think it was a bit of both. Good luck with yours!
