Good idea... :wizard:
Reboot did't help....

Page three! Yikes!

Hey, we are all about two weeks from our trips. Any plans to meet up yet?

Morning All!!

Yesterday was a pretty good day for me - finished cleaning my bdroom - curtains washed pressed and rehung - the border is a bit faded but they will last this winter. the room looks so good - free of clutter.

Report cards came yesterday - Chris got a 68 in both English and Art (the 2 subjects he dislikes the most). We had a good talk about it - I told him that I know he does not like either of these classes but he knows that he needs to pass both to graduate so he needs to find a way to do that and I will help however I can. As far as teacher comments I was thrilled to see that his Computer Animation teacher said "good effort in class" - English teacher is saying "not working up to potential" - I told Chris - you do no t like English - so you will prob never work up to what the teacher thinks is your potential - find a way to do your best and pass. Now - we had agreed that Chris didn't want to show his father his report card until he talked to his counslor - unfortunately my DH came home from hunting with his brother and asked to see it (my neice is in same school) - he looked at it - didn't say much except"you have to do your work" - another dinner with 2 people not talking - not fun.

Nancy - my husband and kids love the smoked turkey legs - I can't stand the smell of it myself. Were you on YC overload thying to get rid of the smell??
Elaine - hope the allergies are better today. Loved the scarf color - knotting is one thing I could never master.
JRKaren, Todd, Alan, Lily,
Tara - I've breathed many sighs of relief when "picture day" was over.....and yet - I miss those days!!
Karen - Sounds like that tree wanted to make one last point.....hiope it heals quickly. And poo on that lady in the restaurant - nice to see that she has her priorities in order!!

It's a beautiful sunny day here - working till 1pm - no other plans.....

Morning all... quick hi here!

Todd, what is your keyboard doing (or not)?

Karen, no meets yet that I know. Though a lot should be showing up to Jellyrolls. I'm actually having "trouble" getting some schedules to match up with a couple others.

Here's everyone's dates though

Tara & gang - 11/25 - 12/4
Rose Mary - 11/26 - 11/29
Elaine & Luis - 11/27 - 12/3
Alan and family - 11/27 - 12/3

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I never would have seen that! And they're right - it's Friday, and no one showed up to play with me! :guilty:

I hit the sack early last night -- just watching the Rockettes wore me out! :teeth:

It was an outstanding show -- I just loved every moment of it. It brought back such wonderful memories of sitting in the football stadium and watching my DD perform those high kicks at the HS half-time show.... and 14 years of dance recitals! :goodvibes

Tara, oh I remember so well those days of taking 2 kids for photos and having one hide and one refuse to smile.

Boo - so did you scale Titicaca on your hike??? Or was that someone else? :confused3

Paula - Computer Animation is a hot college major right now! Chris should look into that if it interests him! And I would think positively and remind him that he was only 2 percentage points away from a C -- and can definitely get those grades up with just a little effort!

DD and I came home to a note from my DH saying that her car has a major leak in the fuel line. We have to take it to the garage first thing tomorrow, will cost $200.00 to fix and she'll have to leave the car for a couple of days. Poor thing wanted to cry -- she did have a catch in her voice. :guilty: So-- Mom and Dad are paying for this unexpected car repair (kids have always had to buy their own vehicles and pay for all repairs and 1/2 of the insurance while in HS, all insurance while in college........ )

We'll have to take her back to college tonight, late, after the Steelers game. She is being inducted into a Psychology Honor Society at college on Wed. night, DH and I are going down for it, so hopefully her car will be done and we can take that down then too.

Nancy -- you don't want to know what my house smells like sometimes!! Let's just say that two very active hunters and outdoorsmen can make some very interesting scents come up through the heater registers!
DS and I loved the turkey legs at WDW!

Well -- DD had to borrow my car to go meet one of her friends. I hope she doesn't pop the trunk and find all the Christmas booty in there, including a 4 foot pony! :rotfl: (Hey, every year the girl brings up the fact that Santa has never brought her the pony she asked for........)

Huggles to all,
Pam

Morning.

Yes, Paula....I have YC going. Home Sweet Home was the choice for that...and it did help.
Good luck to Chris with getting through those classes.

Pam, I don't want to know the smell that comes into your house
We did have a second dead mouse in our furnace this fall ....not a pleasant smell. Or job to get it out

We're still paying for car repairs for Christin....at least we are down to one kid needing that

Pam, I am :rotfl: that you are finally giving her the pony she always wanted. You're just cruel :)

Mrs. AA found out that Pilot's birthday is 7/30/04 which explains the puppyish behavior :) She is the youngest dog in the class.

Did I mention they are coming home tomorrow??? :bounce:

Gonna straighten up a bit today..just enough that she doesn't kill me, but not so much that she doesn't realize how necessary she is here ;)

Have a great day.

Please - tell me that the kids will eventually become self-sufficient! Please, please, please, please!! :Pinkbounc

I have this little game I play - it's called, "What Will I Do With All Of My Money Once My Children No Longer Suck Me Dry!" It's fun -- but I think it's just a game and will never become reality.... :sad2:

:rotfl: Geoff has made it to independence :bounce: So there is hope ;)

Must be nice to have MrsAA coming home ::yes:: And Pilot too :)

Pam - many congrats to your DD on her acheivements.....too bad about the car thing - always something!!
Brought my Toy Soldier costume to the cleaners - want to be ready for the try-outs - just keep kicking - hahahha.
And you are right - that is exactly what I said to Chris about the grades.
I'm laughing about the pony - only because I was on the Toys r us webnsite this moring - looking at oversized llamas for Alyssa!!

Alan and family - yippeeeee on the homecoming!!!!

Nancy - Home Sweet Home - one of my favorites.

Alan,
You sneated on me!

Yay on Mrs. A coming home! This deserves a round of

Ahhh.... so Pilot was the baby of the bunch!

Paula - get that costume back from the cleaners - I think they're gonna hire us! :cheer2:

Hi all! Paula you sneated in on me this morning!

Good luck to Chris in class... I almost failed English a couple times myself. Usually always pulled it out right at the end. Things I don't miss about school ;)

Pam, I was up on Friday night! I think... wasn't I? I think no one was here though. Oh well.
Sorry about your DD's car. I admit my parents were nice and gave us a junker car for all of us to share. Paid the insurance for us too (though it was cheap as we were all infrequent drivers). Good thing is as soon as I graduated college, my dad never paid another dime for our cars. Granted I bought new, so I wouldn't worry about issues, but I wouldn't dream of going to him for repair costs now! We do grow up :)

Okay now I have to go see if I have Home Sweet Home.. if it is the one I think it is, it's one of my favorite scents!

Alan, really... was Rebecca gone? I didn't realize ;)

I have a cat purring on my lap and using an arm as a head rest. She is so cute.
Wish us luck tomorrow. We go back to the vet and I am so hoping we'll be able to wean her off the steroids now. She's my miracle kitty though... just about 2 months ago I was crying myself to sleep thinking we'd lose her.

Help me... my tongue is dead from the licking of the envelopes and my hand is cramped...

yep, hate doing Christmas cards. I can't believe how the card list grows each year

Then again most are my friends so I guess I can't complain that Luis is giving me huge lists to go through :teeth:

Oh? Had Cleo been sick? I didn't realize ;)

Just in from church, gonna feed the younguns, get supper prepared for tomorrow night, and watch Crossing Jordan (even though they have totally screwed up the characters this year)

Suzanne, if you see this one ::yes::
