I didn't start the french riots to my knowledge though my butchering of the language did lead to riotous laughter by many. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Thank you, John! :teeth: I think I need that code!!!! :cool1:

PM coming, Nancy. I've been saving up goodies for a while now. They'll work for just about anyone, lol.

Paula, some hugs for you. I'm hoping that the family appointment goes well.

Tiara, How's the crib tent working? Hearing your escapades sounds like my nephew-he climbed the really high dresser while my sister was down here and it fell over. The only reason why there's not a 'flat Liam' is that the dresser was so tall it fell onto the bed, not him. My BIL had laughed when they bought the dresser "please tether to the wall as some children may climb dresser. He's got one of those kids now.

Bethie, today was a really busy day for us since the kids had off from school. At one point, I started singing "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' to those in line, my coworker joined in, and we had everyone laughing. It's so much FUN! I'm sure you have guests liking your big smile and you're doing this kinda stuff, too! (wearing mickey ears, too, I'll bet!)

So, my brother is going to respond to my email. My sister got a visit from him today and he mentioned it. He also was very careful to say "Please" and "thank you", so maybe some of it was sinking in!

Off to rustle up some dinner and update the blog.

Suzanne

Hey gang,

Not cathing up tonight. Just stopping long enough to say I made it through the day. Things were more complicated than he thought so I'm in quite a bit of pain (compared to what i thought it would be). nOt sure how pictures will go tomorow!! lol! Hopefully I don't look like i'm in pain!

Going back to my perch on the couch. Have a good night gang!

 They won't let me wear my mickey ears  But I have my lime green DIS ribbon and I wear a Disney name tag!! It's funny that you should say that about my smile because just yesterday, I took care of a new customer and signed her up for our mailing list and all. As she was leaving, she told me that I was the nicest sales clerk she had ever met, that I make excellent eye contact and my smile is so genuine. I was so surprised--no one has ever said that to me before!! But you can bet that's one customer I will be greeting by name every time she comes into the store!

Paula, I'm so glad to hear you have worked things out with Chris!! It's wonderful that you were able to come to that understanding with yourself and be able to express it to him. Hopefully, the counseling session will be helpful in breaking down the walls he and his dad are building between themselves. My ex hated the counseling, but it certainly opened his eyes to some erroneous assumptions he was making about our DS!

Welcome home, Jeannie!!! So, will we be getting a least a little bit of a trip report? And speak lentment, s'il vous plait! :teeth: I'm dying to hear how you liked France and some of your escapades!! So what's up next for you?

I'm in on the exchange, Nancy! PM coming shortly. I'm with you on the cheetoh run--pick me up on your way to Paula's, wouldja?!

Yes, Kim, a good night's rest did me a world of good! That and a handful of Alleve  So glad to hear you haven't lost any scrunchies recently! Did I tell you last spring that I LOVE your hair the way you were wearing it there? Free and easy, that's the ticket!

Hi Lily! How's the wogging going? January is coming up fast, just wish you were going to be with us at WDW for the holiday invasion. You will be MOST sorely missed at Jellyrolls, ya know!!

Pam, I imagine that BaB Gunny is just the cutest thing!! Oh, you won't mention anything about today's parade on that Rockettes application, will you? I swear, those old fogies who had to be given oxygen and were carted off to the hospital had nothing to do with my lack of Standard Whites! It was my HIGH KICKS that took their breath away!! I know Liz kept falling out of her bodice and Tara was winking at every guy who even APPEARED to be under 50, but you have to admit, that was one heck of a standing ovation they gave us at the grandstand!

Well, it's Sci Fi Friday and I get to OD on Stargate tonight. Who cares if it's reruns?! I get to see my cabana boy in every episode!! See ya'll later or tomorrow! :grouphug:

Tara, hope tomorrow is better. Your story got me thinking of our little ones. DS#1 climbed out in the middle of the night, but landed right inside a rather large box he used to play in. It was a box for kitchen cabinet or stove or something. He screamed when he made it in that dark confine for sure. DS#2 was taught how to climb. I didn't want him to fall so I showed him: hand hand foot foot. He didn't take long to get stong enought to to do it by himself and the big boy bed was on. Ahh memory lane. Your "little Ethan" is way too young to be in a big boy bed, no? Eek, the no sleep really begins again then.

Suzanne, glad DB is getting the message.

Kimmie, let me know if you like the A book. I have never read any of them yet. Just reserved A and B from the library. No time to read just now though. Yikes! Have others I will be working on. I have One, Two, and Three of Janet from our elf that I must get through. My Mom ripped through One and Two already and has really enjoyed them.

Pam, Rockette applications! You are such a dear friend. I wonder if I should try on my Todd panties to get ready. You know I got the regulation whites!
:p

DS#2 has what I had Monday. I feel sorry for him. Good thing he had a day off work. Pizza for dinner tonight. Super busy night last night at home and work was stressful for the week. I am glad it is the weekend.

Eek!
Beth, I just realized that you posted whilst I was so busy working on mine. I missed you completely. So glad you are feelikng better tonight. What a lovely compliment to get. I know you are certainly most deserving. You really are a great person and it shows.

Hi all... been a day... done stuff but nothing got done, make sense?

Nancy, too bad they didn't do the teacher in service day today! Would've been nicer for you yesterday (yes our schools had school today so no day off here)

Paula, I do hope things look up on the home front. Sounds like your DH and Chris have a bunch they will need to work through. We'll be on call for cheetoing just in case ;)

Okay I missed this about a new book series y'all were talking about... what's it like?

Pam, amazingly while boo boo can be censored, we figured out that ******* isn't. Kind of funny, eh?

Kimmie, when was the last time you were really skeered of my comments? :p We all know what you are like deep down in side ;)

Pam & jeannie, you just made me laugh :teeth:

Ignoring John's comments of anything Monty Python on sale... not what I need to hear

Suzanne, Luis was a dresser climber too! He managed to do that, get a bottle of adult tylenol from the top, open the "childproof cap" and down the bottle. His mom had a great time explaining that one at the hospital

Tara, hope you are feeling better soon

Bethie, I am not shocked she said that about you... you definitely are a sweetheart and it shows. I bet you are just wonderful to be helped by :)

Lily, hope your DS feels better soon.

Cleo is doing her best to make it impossible to type... gotta love cats

Ooooh, Lainey cussed and killed the thread!

We saw Santa arrive at our mall tonight  Still too early

Night y'alluns.

Hey... where did I cuss?

I honestly can't find it

Too tired... 'nite all :wave2:

Just popping in to say a quick hello. I have to go into work today (keep saying it, Karen, you like the money, you like the money). I'm going in early because I have a few things to accomplish this afternoon after work.

Well gang, catch ya later.

JellyrollsKaren

Morning, all.

All week, I was looking forward to sleeping in today. Couldn't do it on my other day off, since I had to go to a conference at Neil's school. Sooooo, the boys take it upon themselves to start playing with the really loud RC Truck that Aunt Linda gave them. At 7am! I have to call Linda later, and I'll mention that her son's getting a loud toy for Christmas now! :teeth:

Gotta do some cleaning today, oh joy!

Suzanne

Morning all! After fighting with my computer I seem to be online (I hope ;)) Hate when that happens too!

Now that I am more awake, I actaully ought to retract my last post :p

But at least I don't scare people away for other reasons, Alan ;)

Karen, don't work too hard please! I admit for me, there was a point when the money was not worth it

Suzanne, I like your style there!

Not entirely sure what I am doing today. Hoped for the zoo (maybe while the game is on) but we'll see waht I am up to doing later :)

Oh Sweetheart, of course I won't mention the Veterans Day Parade on our Rockettes application! :rolleyes1
I'll just let them watch the VIDEOTAPE!! :rotfl:

Oh - and I can see why that customer said such nice things to you!

Lily - Standard Whites??!! We have succeeded in at least one Ya Ya training!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

JRKaren - are working all of that overtime to buy me a nice Christmas present? You truly are the bestest!!

Suzanne - I would buy some sort of musical instrument for your nephew........ :teeth: One that doesn't require batteries so your sister can't silence the darn thing!

Elaine - no ****oos but *******...... okay........

Alan - I'm with you - Santa shouldn't arrive until Black Friday after Thanksgiving! :faint: (But I am almost finished with all of my Christmas shopping..... )

Nancy - I called down to WDW yesterday and bought some of the Resort only Princess ornaments. (I saw them on eBay!) The girl was soooo nice and helpful and spent almost an hour finding them in the system for me.

Oh - DH has a convention at WDW in Feb. Guess who might just tag along on this one.....

Well - got to get off of here and get to the Post Office and mail out 3 boxes to the Troops in Iraq. Then it's off to see the Rockettes!! :cheer2:

Have a good day, everyone!! :goodvibes :sunny:

Alan, I'm really wondering where Santa's going to be in the mall I'm working in now. In the past year, they've added a carousel and 4 kiosks to the center court. Unless he starts working at Dunkin Donuts, he's going to a hard time seeing the kiddos. Although that would be a good plan-see the kids, coffee for the parents!

Suzanne

Good Shilly Morning all.....

It was 29 degrees when I got up at 7am - up to 44 - hoping my curtains will dry and ot freesze - haha.
Started mega fall cleaning yesterday - just about done my bedroom - ofice is next.

*** Veterans Day quip from my dad:
Me: How did the ceremony go?
Dad: Good - we had alot of members - many in uniform.
Me: Did you wear your uniforn?
Dad: I tried it on - the only thing that fit wer the hat and neckerchief!

*** Gotta love dads!!

Went to Best Buy with Chris yesterday - they had 3 Notebook webcams - the clip onto the cover - prices were $50, $60, and $100 - will probably go with the $60 one - Logitech I think.

Nancy - sent you a PM for the exchange.

Beth - what a comodity you are - a smiling, curteous sales clerk!!!
I think I had your evil twin at Walmart last week - checking out - cherk had a hard time with the register accepting my gift card..after many heavy sighs she said "I think I'm going to shoot myself".....good customer service there.....not sure how that would have made my card go thru - haha.

Funny that you are talking about Monty Python - that was one of my daily quotes to Alyssa the other day.

Speaking of Alyssa her and Ryan were going to see Jarhead last night - I'm not into war flicks but I would compormise for Jake.....

My fall cleaning has turned into mega re-arranging - etc - put out some new pictures - put away some of the banie's - kept out a few teddy bear beanies - put out all of my Snowbabies - rearranged husbands baseball hat collection. Want new curtains but decided that will be a spiring project. Assembles all old photos for Scrapping - winter project.

More cleaning today - hope everyone has a great day......

Good morning!!

Pam....when in Feb?? :hyper: That's when we are at WDW!!
Glad you got the ornaments ::yes::

Guess what I bought las night? :hyper: My AP!! Should arrive the 25th....woohoo!!

Don't work too hard, Karen....just think, money, money.
Nice thing.....Dave's company is completing the buy-out and that means he gets money.....:bounce: We love getting money for not doing anything :teeth:

Sorry, you couldn't sleep, Suzanne.

Chilly here this morning too. Have fun cleaning, Paula. I think I am going back in the basement for some more of that today.

Elaine, hope you find something fun to do today....even if it is nothing :teeth:
