Don't feel guilty Tiara, we had the crib tent too and have been known to use wrist leashes when the girls were younger.

Our crib tent was as much to keep a cat out than to keep a child in though :)

BTW, Mrs. AA found out why her guide dog is named Pilot.

She was sponsored by American Airlines :teeth:

They are going back to Queen's today for more city walking.

John...glad jury duty went well!! Did you find the parts for DW's van?? Did you get to eat the deer? :teeth:

Sue drove by the scene of the deer incident several times yesterday. Apparently the deer is still there, but someone took the antlers. No luck finding a hood at a junkyard. The local body shop estimates that it will cost $510 to repair and repaint the hood. Sue still has to take it to State Farm to see what they think it will cost to do the repair. Darn Bambi.

Nancy - have fun shopping -- I will take a breather - until Monday when I go to West Virginia to the big Cabela's store!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Tiara - hey - I don't blame you for wanting to keep Ethan safe! Those two boys keep you hopping, don't they? :teeth:

Alan - bwaaaaahaaaahaaaa - and here I thought it was because the dog was "piloting" Rebecca! Love the sponsorship by American Airlines! :)

John - what? The deer had horns? And you didn't get them for me??? ;) Is there a deductible when a deer hits your car? I can't remember - but I suspect there is.....

RoseMary -           Sorry all you have ben doing is working - but we appreciate all that you do to help those in need! :goodvibes

Elaine - do you have :umbrella: or :cold: ??? We had horrible thunder and lightning storms last night. Then it spit snow this morning. Now it's just cold. :guilty: I am getting scared because I am so worried about DS driving that Mustang in the snow. We got all new snow tires on it - but this is his first year for driving all by himself (last year he was on a permit, driving DH's 4x4 pickup). Since he loves that 'Stang, he has already said that if it's bad out, the car will be parked in the driveway!

$250 deductible for comprehensive damage. And according to Sue, it was a 6 point buck that she bumped.

Alan pbbbbtt :p

John, I would have a hard time deciding what to do there... I guess if the cost per year for insurance won't change much, I'd make them pay. Otherwise I'd suck it up and pay it myself.

Pammy, I thought much the same with Pilot... though initially I did think of the school here near by. However, it is cold, but we have :sunny: So it is nicer (we had yuck stuff yesterday and last night though) Tomorrow is cool still but sunny all around :)

So sue had six points added to her driving record?

Sorry, but I am very glad she wasn't hurt; deer can really tear a vehicle up!

Mrs. AA had her first NY street vendor hot dog today and loved it. She also had a potato knish (not gonna find 'em around here) on the side.

It was a very good (and very crowded) city walk.

Congrats on the Missus' very first street dog! Woohoo! :cheer2: And a knish! Sometimes those things take a leap of faith to consume-but a little luck and alot of mustard and you're good to go!

hi all. :) just checking out my sig-have no clue how to dress it up...France was wonderful-though i suppose not so wonderful in recent days...back just in time to drop some pounds before Thanksgiving and the holiday stretch.

later! :wave2:

You guys have the point system in Alabama too???

No points on her license. And no points on the buck (anymore). I still can't figure out how the hood was dented and yet the grill and bumper were untouched. I think that buck held up one leg in a gesture for my wife to stop.

And I figured someone would know what I meant about points.

If you can't find a junkyard, perhaps you could have a yard sale to raise money for the hood. You could call it your

Boo... baby, so good to see ya! Love the new sig too :teeth:

Alan & John... don't know whether to laugh or roll my eyes at you two :p

State Farm won't charge it as an accident. It's called 'dumb animal insurance'. They covered the 1700 to fix my front passenger side when the herd of deer shoved one of the others at my car a couple years ago. Fortunately, I saw the deer ahead and slowed from 45 to about 25, but couldn't avoid it.

Ooooh, Alan, you're torturing me! Dirty water dog and a knish? The staples of a NY diet. Give it another week or two and they'l be roasting the chestnuts on street corners, too. Never liked them, but the smell was sooo good!

Gotta make some grub. Kids are asking for macs and cheese, guess I can be lazy. Weird that Ed's still out delivering mail, tho.

Oh, Kimmie's here? Hi CBT!
bananahi.gif

Kimmie, looks like you have become our resident expert on banana-ology. Just pretend you can't hear those bills calling and keep researching those bananas!
I couldn't shut them up so I paid AND researched. :p

Hi Todd... no panties at your house either? Sigh. Bummer. Like Paula, I apparently also missed the panty memo. Sad sad. :(

Larry Boy!!! My hero! :lovestruc
Here I come. See me fly.
Saw the signal in the sky.
Super suction comes to action.
Purple spandex satisfaction-n-n-n-n, yeah! Oh! Yeah!

Dysons rock.

Googling bread is dangerous too?!? Sheesh! People are weird. I can't actually remember the name of the site where I found the bananas. I just googled and there they were doin' their banana thang. :p Banana-palooza. Festival o' bananas! I think this guy's had one too many happy drinks...

This one is interesting.

Quite a little collection of happy lil' veggies out there. Who knew!

Hey there RM! Boo to the g-nats and yelling people!

Hi there Tina! Good to see you!

Ethan has a tent?! Go Ethan! Very cool! :p I was one of those evil cruel parents that put a leash on my three year old the first time we took him to WDW. Losing him was NOT an option, so well... there ya go. Oddly enough, it seems he's survived the trauma of it all.

You know, it just hit me... Alan and John have the opportunity to meet... in person :faint:

Suzanne, I don't like the taste of the chestnuts either, but I love the smell of them roasting... we did it at home one year. Same with the nuts at WDW, especially around WS at night... just the smell in the cooler air... I love it!

Kimmie, I can't help but think bad bad bad things when I see that brocoli dancing... bad thought... you probably put them there ;)

Hi Sherry :wave2:

Okay I have a cat at my left begging for ice cream, and cat on my right begging to get in the door to the closet......

anyone want a cat... or two... I'm sure I could get them shipped ground or something. You'll have 'em in a week or less ;)
