Evening, all.
Had that 13 hour day today. It's a part of retail. I'm living with lots of guilt, and the guilt associated with not being there for a big visit tomorrow prompted me to offer to stay until closing to do some tasks. I felt really productive-got tons of damages processed. Boss is very compassionate about the whole thing.
Busy day on tap for Thursday. Mom in the am, kids to the doctor in the early afternoon and if there are still tickets, we may do Not so Scary. Ed's going to be taking his mom and sister around to look at houses that their realtor suggested. They wanted to see our house, to see if they want to go with a house already done by our builder, so they're coming in the morning. It made more sense for them to take one car and for me to head over in the afternoon.
Apparently all the time down here has made an impact on my sister. She hasn't seen much of Florida but the inside of the hospital and hospice and yet she wants to move here. Now she's going to work on her husband, lol. Once she finishes nursing school, it's a very real possibility. Gotta remember to pay off her kids for bugging her to see Neil and Kevin every day
Those recipes sound yummy! Kim, you can come over to my place and help with baking-I don't burn stuff. I'll let you take stuff home if you help make and clean up!
Yay, John's going to be joining his yaya sistahs!
Speaking of which, has anyone made plans for Very Merry yet? We didn't do it last year and it's on the top of our list for this year
Parting funny: My sister who's been told off (a/k/a "Legacy lady") has been given daily voice mails about the Mom situation. However, she hasn't answered the phone, nor does she call me back. Tonight, she called Hospice and they wouldn't connect her to the room. I guess she's afraid of me since I told her off!
Dunno if I'll pop in tomorrow. If not, hopefully the headaches all go away, the kitties and sistahs all get better, the baking goes well, the students listen to the teacher and the cabana boys make preparations for being confined to quarters soon!
