Good morning! It's another WhoofreakingHoo day!! The beginning of my LAST week with the boy dork, I mean genius Talked to my store manager last night and one of our other super workers has accepted the key holder position so we will now have a full management staff!!! We hope to set up the schedule 4 weeks at a time, rather than just a week at a time, and with 4 able to open and close, we should each be able to have a whole weekend off in every 4! Funny how the little things make such a big difference, isn't it?

What a wonderful day you all had, Suzanne!! Sounds like the new meds were just the ticket for Neil at this point! Congratulations!!

So I guess Paula is in the air right now! Travel safe and have a great time, Paula!!!

Best myself moving, too. Still gotta do my hair and pencil in some eyebrows. Hopefully, I'll be able to check in with ya'll from the office at some point today! Have a beautiful day!!!

Good morning all! Slow moving day here... need to walk around the house to decide waht I want to do. Just rainy and blah here so what I hoped to do outside will have to wait.

Suzanne, I am so glad to hear how well your day was with Neil and the family at Epcot! I hope this is just the beginning of better days for y'all!

I think I'm gonna to move Cleo, run a quick errand and then start some laundry. Not quite in the mood to dive into a bit organizing project today. Was thinking of doing that later this week.

After this weekend, you can send me rain, Elaine. I want it clear for the trip I hope we are making But otherwise, it is usually raining here by now, so we are used to it.

I'm supposed to be cleaning, but had to check something first.

Any ideas....both kitties won't sit on their blankies under their lights in the window seat anymore They have sat there to get sun and heat for years and years and now they haven't gone there in weeks Very odd for them.

Elaine... the testing ins a standardized test for the 6th graders. I don't have to test, just move my class so that my room can be used for testing.

that little ho Rita is supposed to be here tonight to torment us. They are talking about getting rain, thunder, and cooler temps here in the next couple of days. woohoo!!

Getting a lot of "Server Busy" errors

Nancy, I'll be glad to send you the rain next week then! As for the kitties... mine honestly move around a lot so I usually don't give it much thought. Could they either be tormented by something outside nearby, it is too hot, something got on their blankets? Anything like that? Like I said, mine move a lot... and of course with the seasons. I expect to see them up here more and less downstairs as it gets cooler.

Gotcha, Tara, sorry you have to be moved for the testing then! Enjoy hte cooler temps! I admit I am not ready for cooler yet

Think I'm gonna shower now... just finished doing some laundry and getting Luis' lunches prepared for the remainder of the week. See y'all later!

Not too hot.....very cool in the morning and evening, so they should be there.
Nothing around......there is nothing around us
I washed their blankies and put a little catnip on them, so we'll see.
They do move to other spots too, but that has always been their favorite, so much so that after they knocked about $400 of collectables off, it became their spot and it has been for years.

That is odd about the kitties... I do hope that works! The only real thought I had was maybe an animal outside was bugging them. Happened here for a while, but nothing major. And they only avoided the door for a couple days.

I think I'll be set to finish weeding tomorrow. Looks like weather will finally clear out for a couple of days

Hi Ya Yas!

Sheesh! I don’t know what happened to all the time that just seemed to fly by since my last “fly-by post.”

Let’s see, tart burners, Jon, I didn’t know what they were either. I learned something new. Deena is ok I am hoping, haven’t read otherwise just yet. Was sending prayers her way for sure. Choir driving 40 miles! Eek! Tenors welcome, find a choir close though. Standard whites on the way. Seems like many of the “larger” sizes are gone. All small sizes available, however, that will not cover anything here. Todd is such a sweetie thinking of his fellow DISers. Junior is back and Sherry is on vaca! Well here’s to hoping at least a well-deserved rest. Loved all the picture day pics. Sigh, sadly I have no more. But, I have moved into the next phase of my mourning and am ready to begin anew. Scotty is out of surgery, now prayers for recovery. Must pay $ for pic viewing. Just hmpf! Pics of people in hiding, now that’s a way to get them on here, clever. Room redecorating, good luck Kimmie. Kidlet sleeping Yay on that one! DH had to go into work and plans had to be rearranged, sigh I do understand that for sure. Cat still needs a cat door for the closet—maybe a Christmas present for her. PD that Christin gets the job she needs and wants, oh for the hunt again. Hope it isn’t too long in the search. PD that the new construction is just what Bethie needs! I donated our VCR tapes to our Relay for Life garage sale. They were among the first things to be grabbed up. Help out our fundraising. Paula is playing in the World, hoping it is the best! Tara is almost packed for the World. I sure wish I would be there with everyone. Looking forward to all the good news and pics.

Kind of quiet here tonight. Luis is watching the Tenn./LSU game on TV downstairs. Gave Cleo her meds and the 2nd ones I gave her went down okay w/o a fight. Wonder if I can try that trick tomorrow with the yucky meds.

It was a great weekend for me. My friend visited this weekend—stayed with us and that gave us real catching up time. Friday we did a “girls date night” (Mom, GF and me) since DH had another event to attend. I did my 8 miles on Saturday in 1 hr 54 min. I am good with that time. I was only going to do 6 b/c I had GFs coming over to bike ride. Well, I decided that I felt good and I need to build up the distance so I put in the 8 miles according to my schedule. I met up with someone who is training for the marathon and invited him to stop over to the WISH thread. Hoping he will. Our Saturday running group is officially over and now the solo training will begin. Ted was able to go with us on the bike ride as he got stuck putting in a lot of extra time in Buffalo for an “unplanned event.” So after I returned from my 8 miles we went off to frolic on our bicycles for a 20 mile trek. We stopped off to lunch on the way back so it really was not a rough ride. It was a pleasure tour. Just at the end DH got a call into work so he had to book on ahead and get into work. We ladies took a trip to the local garden center then came back to watch Aviator. Sunday we went to an “ethnic” afternoon dinner and enjoyed Hungarian food and dancing. Lovely weekend. I have not yet done anything physical today and am not sure what I want to do.

drive by here....just got back from bowling and it really sucked!! Not at all like last week! Oh well, my team is 0 for 12 now! I think we will be stuck at the bottom for a while! hehe

Tired here. School meetings, lots of road time for various classes for Cam, carpet shopping, kitty medicating, etc. Haven't slept well in three days. Tired. Cranky. Crabby. Whine whine whine....

Nancy, wish I had some brilliant thoughts about your kitties, but I got nothin'. Other than the location change, do they seem to be acting okay? One of ours is fruity lately. She has some urinary/kidney issues happening, and the meds are nearly impossible to get down her. She is beginning to truly hate to see me coming. She runs whenever she sees me now.

Cam's room is empty and the walls have the first coat of paint. We picked out the carpet today. WFH and so forth.
