quick post while the kids are doing one of their reading assessments. They think I'm responding to Email!! hehehe

Elaine...oops...I guess I wasn't clear where i was yesterday. I got home about 5 last night and then worked on stuff until after 10. Poor Ethan was nearly ignored! He did get some snuggle time in though!

Paula...ouch, good luck healing. I have had vicodin for migraines...didn't make my head feel any better, but I didn't give a rip how bad I felt!!

Suzanne...good luck with the storms and with mom.

Nancy...glad someone is usually around at night after you! Good luck with the computer and the pictures issue. I just want to have some time to download the pictures.

Gotta run to the Sept. exercise challenge and up date my totals! Hopefully, this month I will lose a few more pounds. I'm staying off the scale so I don't stress about it (although I still do stress!!

can someone explain to me how difficult it is to follow simple directions!! I have given the directions 5 times. The slowest kid in the class has them all figured out...its the smart aleck that thinks he knows it all. He is technically not supposed to be in my class because it is not on his iep.

Oy vey, he just stopped me and wanted to know if he could "pick" how many questions he answered...uh...I've already said you have to do the WHOLE thing. I've also pointed out that you can take as long as you need to do it!! ugh! This goes to prove that I really do need more meds!!!

anyway, Elaine...when I read your first post I took it to mean "how late I had to stay at school" oops!! Oh well, it at least gave us something to post about!! hehehe

Oops, I thought I posted this like an hour ago. I just found it still sitting here waiting for me. So I'll post it now and try and come back tonight!!

Anyone have a room that I can come crash in?? I came home to two crabby boys and one crabby mom!! I'm drinking a Bacardi Silver Raz...I wnted soemthing stronger but the only thing I had to mix it with was milk or grape juice I wanted to go out for mexican tonight but wiht the moods in the house I was afraid I would order a giant margarita and drink 2 of them!!!

Okay, gonna go check on my baked chicken patties umm!

Mom's doc is 90-95% sure she has lymphoma, however, it was caught VERY early, as she'd had a chest xray six weeks ago that was clear. She has to have a PET (I think that's what it is) next Thursday. So, now we wait...I'm going over every other day to prepare food and do laundry. I knew that I would be dong this sort of stuff when I moved down here-but I honestly thought it'd be Ed's family. The women on my mom's side are fiesty and independent and live into their 90's-she will beat this, but she's going to need a lot of TLC right now.

I drove my sister up to the airport from mom's and got more confirmation that moving away from my other siblings was a very good idea. Saint Peg, the martyr (A/K/A my next older sister) apparently has said/done some pretty nasty things-and my oldest sister was the main target. Ugh! I did say to my sis "and you wondered WHY I moved away?" I'm the 'smart one', as they all tell me !

Tara, there's a spare room here, no bed in it-but we have an air mattress. No tequila, but we can make you comfort and coke, root beer, sprite or ginger ale I had one of those rough days a few weeks ago and got home to find we only had milk and Fruit2o's-not the best mixers, lol!

I'll be heading to bed early tonight-early wake up. Ed's not scheduled at the PO, so I don't have to drop the kids at daycare. However, I suggested he go over in person to find out his schedule-possibility then exist that he'll get put to work for a while!

Choir was great. It always feels good to be back with the group like that (even though we do sing at mass during the summer... this is a bit different).

Thanks for the offers of refuge!! By the time I finally got the kids to bed we had Jarrod hitting me and Ethan screaming until I thought I was going to scream. But the last hour has been very peaceful!

Suzanne...eww fruit 2o and Milk! Not much better than my choices. Oh and I saw and heard about the Bush women and their comments. Oy vey!! They remind me of the old ladies I bowl with! Sometimes you just want to tell them to zip it!!

Nancy...cute picture!! if I were you I wouldn't plan on the trip going exactly as planned...I say Plan, Plan, and Plan again!! hehehe

Elaine...glad choir was good. So tell us all about what went wrong today! I like to here that I'm not the only one with the day from hell!!

Rough day here, too. Just hate it when the bank reconciliation is out of balance and I can't find it!! Work at the store was good, though--it didn't take me 1 1/2 hours to close this time!!

This trip was the first Dave had gone on that we got towel animals and such. He was almost as anxious to go see what was waiting for us every evening as he was to head to the parks
