And I can't believe it went through the filter!!!!

I guess ******* is okay but **** isn't :p

Yay for Tiara's working computer :teeth:

Nancy, we are feeling the effects of it here already, but I guess I never really expected the gas to go up to $3... it did though :( Oh well, don't drive much now anyway
But if I go out and get some Happy Meals, I'll be glad to share any prizes I get if they are duplicates ::yes::

Alan, I think we'd all prefer ANYTHING to Pammynookie's food ;)

Hey All,

For someone who is supposed to be resting I have been on the run all day UGH. I had to take the youngest to his endocrinologists appointment this morning 25 miles away from here. Dh couldnt get off work. I was shown the results of the growth hormone tests and it was shocking to say the least. Poor little man is basically producing no growth hormone at all. Normal is ten. His count was 1.1. Within about two to four weeks he will be on replacement growth hormone therapy. Just have to get it through the insurance and all that fun stuff. Little man is pretty okay with it and knows that without it he basically will not grow. He is the size of a five year old now and he is seven. After the docs appt I had to run to the store to pick up a few things, then home, then the mail ran, then back out to the bank to cash a check. Got home from that and ds called me to say he cant get to his softball equipment in the gym because it is locked and his bus is there. I tell him to find someone to unlock the gym and I will leave immediately and pick him up.....the school is ten miles from home...sigh, Pick him up from school with his equipment, get on I95 and realize I had forgotten to stop and pick up the kids prescriptions from the neurologist that they were supposed to mail and didnt while I was down at the endocrinologists office, so off I go to Hollywood which is now 20 miles from where I am to pick up the prescriptions, come back to Lauderdale and go get one of the scripts filled. I just walked in the door! I havent stopped since 5 AM this morning!

Patti welcome to the thread. Glad to have you here. So you are a RLS sufferer too huh? I can sympathize with what you went through. Doc just started me on Requip last night. I was still up four times with it but this is only a teeny tiny starter dose that will titrate up for the next two weeks so it will take time for it to really work for me. If this one isnt good for me...ya know like too many side effects etc.....I will remember to ask about Mirapex. I am so glad to hear it is working for you!

Kimmie I get like that with my legs except it doesnt let up no matter what I do. I have tried working out, massage, heat, cold, standing in the shower, you name it. Im so glad to hear that it does go away for you when you go to bed and it allows you to sleep.

I hate the gas prices but there is no way on Gods green earth that either I or dh will get a motorcycle. Dh has been after me for years to get one and I have always put my foot down and said no he cant have one. I am too deathly afraid he will get killed on it down here with these wacko old fart drivers. Thankfully my car doesnt use as much gas as dh's SUV so we will and do use it for most trips that arent right near us. I cant wait to see how much gas we are going to use once ds starts Florida Youth Orchestra and then lessons on Saturdays again. Both things are about 20 miles away one way. I guess my little car will be getting quite a workout LOL!!! We always have one good out also and that is that dh can bring home his work truck. It means I do all the picking up of the kids but he wont be using his own gas getting back and forth to work. Havent figured out if that really is cost effective yet since I would have to basically go right near where he works to pick up our youngest. Yet another reason I wish we could get my youngest into the same aftercare as my eldest. Its basically right down the street from both my office and my house.

Bethie CONGRATS on being a Key Holder. That is so wonderful!!!

Well I think Im gonna get off this thing and go lay down. Dh had to run out for a few minutes to get his prescription filled and then he is coming home to make din din. I have been ORDERED to do NOTHING for the rest of the weekend by dh. He is not happy about all the running around today and not happy with ds for making me have to run up to the school. Dh doesnt much boss me around but I think I will listen to him.......this time LOL..

HUGS TO ALL!!!! :grouphug:

:moped: Yup! All packed! Flying out early a.m. It was an incredibly busy couple of weeks and I cannot wait to get out of Dodge! See everyone after next week.

Hi y'all, back from our walk :) It's always nice to do, though I think we'll have to go earlier soon... starting to get dark early.

Nancy, I love hte pics you've been posting :teeth:
Oh btw, where did you see the POTC folders?

Not doing anything terribly exciting this weekend. Tomorrow is OSU's first game of the year so we'll have that on. On Monday is an arts festival, but otherwise a low key weekend for us.

Karen, take it easy this weekend!!!

Awww Todd, if you ever want the boys kids meal, let me know... I get tons of kids meals when I eat fast food so I can always collect for you :p

Awwwwwmmmm!! I'm telling! Teeeeacher!!! Elaine said ****!!!
SNITCH!!!!!!

She doesn't play fair!!! :snooty:

Have a wonderful trip there Lily!!!!

Well I made headway on the dog talk. Luis is willing to try it. He just has to get used to the idea of getting a third pet. I told him that isn't something I am willing to debate. So... whenever he is up to it, we'll find ourselves a dog :)

Hi all! Post monster ate my first post.

Let's see if I can recreate:

Boys start the saturday daycare t'row. They've been saying since Wednesday that they couldn't wait until Saturday-they liked her a lot! We're all set for 8:30am, then work calls and asks me to close tomorrow. Ed and I didn't want to disappoint the boys, so they're still going then, I'm just gonna do some baking I planned to do Sat night. Team's getting brownies and cookies for our floor move Sunday :)

Ed's taking Sputnik tomorrow-I'm not thrilled with that, but it makes sense. My car gets much better mileage than his. If he had his way, he'd have a motorcycle. If this keeps up, I'll spend the money on a Harley Custom for him (about 8 grand) instead of saving the pennies for that dream Mustang. Jill's got a 'stang and says it's a royal hog when it comes to gas.

I had a lot of people shop at the store today that are headed out on the 7 day tomorrow, and I was trying to recruit one lady-she's gonna bring me back a captain mickey topper, woohoo!

Nancy, now I need a happy meal. Shep, I buy the meals, then stash the toys, but I want the cars for myself. My first semester of college, I went there three weeks in a row to get myself the LEGO toy-my brother never shared his!

Tiara, have fun staggering drunk on the beach, lol! I was thinking you were going to a place called the ocean deck, then I realized that I had the wrong beach town! :rotfl:

Kevin was being a PITA about riding his bike right at dinner, so I told him that we could go after dinner. I was going to ride, too, but found that my tires were flat. Neil heard bike ride and wanted to join us. Alas, it was just Kevin riding and Neil and I walking, but it was very pleasant to do the circle. We met a neighbor's 4month old puppy and Kevin was asking-I told him he was barking up the wrong parent :rotfl2: I WANT the dog, lol!

Lily, have fun crusing! Say hi to Minnie and tell her to stop showing her undies to the whole world-it's just WRONG!

My store manager at the new store brought me a present this morning, 50th golden ears from Disneyland that she got at the sales conference. She also gave me a very nice note welcoming me to the store-cuz we both have a lot of work to do. Very motivating. I realized today that she is exactly like my younger sister, which means I won't have any problems working with her. I even asked when her b'day was, cuz I thought they'd have the same one (nope!).

Gotta get something to drink so I can suck down the last dose of this yucky cough medicine.

Suzanne

Bad news gang...didn't get to get under the table. I left work at 5 and headed over to Crocs and when I got there i didn't see any cars for the people I work with. I thought for sure there would be people by then (they said it was starting at 5 :confused3 ) So instead of drinking I came home and ate corn dogs, chocolate peanut butter pudding and watched the news. Not as much fun, but I enjoyed the kid time. (ethan screaming to walk around, Jarrod romping like a bull in a china cabinet, ethan climbing up on things being a dare devil, jarrod screeching so he could be as loud as ethan! yep a great time was had by all :rotfl: )

Lily have a great time on your trip!

Suzanne...glad you like your new boss. i'll send you my address so you can send some of that baking my way!!

Elaine...geez you don't want much...a harley, a sports car, AND a dog!! wow! hehehe good luck on getting at least one of them.

nancy...your pics are cute! I need to download some of the recent pics of the boys!

Karen...get some rest!! Sorry that your youngest is having growth issues. That stinks!! Good luck!

Todd...is MJ keeping you in line at work??

Going to ketchup up around the boards and see what I missed. See you all tomorrow!!

tiara
(you people that don't do a ketchup will never understand why I've changed my name! :rotfl: )

LOL...love the dog pictures, Lily.
Have a great time!!

Elaine, they were at Wal-Mart. 3 different pictures....2 had someone else on them also ;)

Shoot...time is up...oven is buzzing....later

Trying to have fun with the photos. I don't have very many on imagestation right now :wave2:

Going to bed soon... have a headache and I need to get up early to make a call ;)

LOL Lily, actually I wasn't joking iwth that white fluffy dog... we saw one while we were out walking. Very cute :teeth:

Tuh oh, another one who wants a bike? Well, I admit 'stangs are sweet to look at but I imagine the mileage isn't too hot. I've decided not to push the bike here for now, but it doesn't seem like it would be too expensive in the future if we did decide to do it.

Tiara, sorry you didn't find any co-workers, but it sounds like a nice time no matter what. I haven't had a corn dog in ages!

Hmmm... Walmart... gotta go check it out!

Tired here, check y'all later... realize I'm not so chatty when sleepy

Actually, he's wanted one for years (same as that mustang, lol), but started in on them big time about two years ago. Thought we'd have much more money to play with that he could get one-that didn't happen  . Going to spend his next 20 paychecks playing catch up! And it's getting direct deposited to MY account, too! :rotfl:

Suzanne

DS is getting around 20 mpg in his '94 Mustang. Not great - but better than the 16 mpg he got at first before he and DH did a tune-up on the car. It's a 6 cylinder.

Elaine - I have a nice Beagle I will share with you - just got a new cream sectional couch two days ago and the little bugger jumped up on it with some tar on his paws! It's not real bad - but you have to use a special cleaner on the thing.... He's very contrite right now - all curled up on his bed on the floor!

Kim - I see your pics! No red x here! I never heard of pee chees, either. :confused3 We live sheltered lives, don't we?

And yes - I read all those comments about my critter cookin'!

Suzanne - yahoo on Ed's new job and too funny about your kids wanting to go to day care!

Tiara - sorry you didn't get to party tonight - but it sounds as though your two boys made up for it! :rotfl:

Gas is "only" $2.889 here, so far. Up from $2.659 yesterday, but that's at Costco. It IS bad and the news is telling about gas station owners who are price gouging on top of it all. Sigh.........thank goodness we both drive efficient little cars and don't have long commutes anymore. Thinking about getting a bicycle for getting to work at the store--that's only about 2 1/2 miles away.

Love the pictures!! MUST find time to work on mine from last Christmas!!! but for now, it's bedtime. Going to sleep in a little tomorrow :teeth:

Mad, mad love to all and :grouphug:
