250 pages. I am totally impressed. Dare I suggest that it might be time to move on from Club Med and perhaps find a new location???

Liz - I go back to see my surgeon tomorrow for the 4 month followup to my ankle surgeries. As long as I remember to take two Advil when I wake up, my ankle seems to be leaving me alone. I still have no feeling in one toe and the swelling is a constant problem. I am going to ask my doctor to prescribe a roll of elastic stockinette to replace my aging compression socks. After 9 months, they aren't so stretchy anymore. And I've tried going without them and the results are NOT pretty. Then again, my feet weren't that pretty to begin with, so I don't know what I'm complaining about.

So what is the smiley limit these days?

John, sounds like you need to get hosed!!! Ted hosed, mind you!!! Sorry, that was a REAL groaner!!! And I am up for a move if anybody else is. Good luck at your appointment. FYI.....I can't feel much of my little toe either.....so you may never get that feeling back. Good luck with the swelling....hope it is not arthritis setting in!! Let us know what the doc has to say!!!!

Liz, no itinerary yet for the cruise. Trying to decide if we are going to veg the whole time or do an excusersion. I've been told by a couple at this ports, may be better to just check out the scenery on my own. We'll see... we can even book on the ship I think.

Mrs. AA had a hysterectomy on Monday and so our dear cabana boy was given time off to go take care of his sweetie at home, and his two girls as well. Heard from him and all went well so hopefully Mrs. AA will have a good & fairly easy recovery

Man alive, there's 7 pages since last I ketchup'd. I plead the DIS being down yesterday. Well, ok that and LUSH being addictive. *But* I have just come back from mailing my last (please, let it be the last) grad school application thingie, so now it should be smooth, stressful sailing until I start hearing back from them.
At the post office I was also able to pick up some stuff from Yankee Candle that I ordered in early December. I got part of the order abotu Dec 16, which had shipped Dec 7. It said that the rest had shipped Dec 6 - that's the stuff I got today. The note inside said the stuff I received on the 16 was back-ordered. I'm opening it saying to myself .. um, you mean the stuff I got a month ago? I think I'll refrain from ordering from them again .. I even paid the extra expensive shipping this time and it still took forever and I had to pay duty. Ok, grumbling over. I better start ketchin' up or there will be another 10 pages of sneeters before I'm done this.

Kristy, I'm not sure what brand those skinless bison dogs are, or where they're packaged, but I'll look next time we get some. They definitely don't crunch when you bite them (that would so gross me out). If you try chili, let me know how it turns out. I think it would be tasty.

I keep thinking it's on borrowed time, though, since I got this the same time as my dad got one, and his died years ago. I guess I've been lucky. Ok, there's been, like, a page of sneeters while I've been doing this. I'm gonna give my bio and skedaddle. I'm Caroline, I'm 26 (almost 27 - I think this makes me new baby Ya Ya though!). Been married 4 years in May to Scott, who also really likes Disney but doesn't DIS. We have two ferrets, Soda and Pistachio and a fish, Mr. Gulliver (I don't know his first name, he won't tell me). I'm a meteorologist (so is Scott) but I'm looking to go back to grad school in the fall to start working on my PhD (read: I'm crazy). I found Ya Yas in December by trailing JRKaren around the Epcot entrance and pestering Nancy via PM. I did my nekid ritual dance Christmas eve, in the woods by moonlight (or so I'm told). I also hate the smilie limit.

Hi Sideshow Bob!

As I mentioned in my little note to Liz, I didn't have any cake at my work birthday party today. As some of you know, the first anniversary of my mom's death is just a few days away, and I've been having a hard time lately. Today, I just wasn't ready to hear anyone sing "Happy birthday to me." Well, I was hoping I could get them to do the cake without me, but I got forced to go down to the kitchen. Pretty much the entire office was there, and I just couldn't look at anyone when they started singing happy birthday because I knew I'd break down as I did. Then, I just started slicing the cake and putting it on plates, not looking up, not really saying anything. As soon as everyone had cake, I thanked everyone, and quickly darted out of the room, and went back to my office, where I broke down. One of my co-workers came up to check on me a bit later, and I just broke down again--I kept on losing my breath. I've never had that happen before. It was horrible. For a good 40 minutes, I was crying off and on. A couple times folks asked me if I was OK, and I had to fight back breaking down again. Luckily, I only had an hour left in the day when they had the cake.

Well, that's enough of that. I'm better now

It's his sweet little southern accent thankyouverymuchtwit, not the nuzzling and smile (though that isn't half bad either). I am a true sucker for a southern accent and Craig is from GA originally and is sweet as sweet can be!

Anywho....

Yay!!!! I am not the youngest anymore!!! Actually Kristy is a few months younger than me, but somehow when this whole mess started, I was really *the* youngest (by about 10 years) and the term Baby Ya Ya stuck... so I would guess that if y'all see that from an "Elder" they are probably referring to me (wise to think when they go insulting me )

But Caroline, I will be interested to hear what you got on all that film

JRKaren, it's hard... I know I was too numb to notice anything my first birthday (just about 1.5 months after my mom died) so it didn't bother me... however the next year (on my 18th birthday) I did everything normal and totally lost it at my boyfriend's house as soon as everyone left. I am just sorry that it was so hard this year

Oh and for anyone curious... haircut was great... a bit shorter than before, but nice all the same

I just got the bestest news!! The Cleveland Clinic called SIL and the baby is perfectly healthy!! I am sooo relieved. Thanks again for all the prayers. They definitely worked
