Afternoon everyone!
Hope it's been a good Thursday so far. This are still relatively quiet at work, so it hasn't been too exciting here. I'm definitely feeling better today. My sinuses are still waging war on my head and throat, but I'm on the upswing. Hooray!
Karen, I'm so glad you're feeling better too! I hope you can get that Pred dose down to 'zip' soon. A relaxing weekend sounds like just the right thing.
JRKaren, it was Pralines and Cream ice cream mixing with my cinnamon flavored toothpaste. Definitely not good. I'm not sure if mint ice cream would have worked better - an experiment for another day, I guess. heehee I've never tried the OJ/toothpaste thing before, but I've heard it's similar to mint and beer which, unfortunately, I have tried.
Elaine, hope the sinuses are doing better today. Did you ever discover their 'purpose'? Your traditional NYE celebration sounds nice. Before I left home, I used to do something similar, either hanging out with my parents or friends (or both). I hope you have as good a time this year.
Suzanne, minty meat doesn't sound too good either (although it did make me laugh out loud - more strange looks at the office for Caroline - heehee). Hope you're having a great time at Epcot.
Hi Nancy, hope you're finding time to relax somewhere in the hustle and the bustle.
Kimmie, my first two ferrets both lived to be just less than 6 years old. My current two are both about 4 (they're resuces, so I'm not sure exactly how old they are). One bad thing about ferrets is they tend to have a lot of health problems. All 4 of my kids have had adrenal disease (tumors on one or both adrenal glands), that had to be removed. One had several other kinds of tumors as well, but she was so tiny she couldn't have the surgery for them. Unfortunately because of the practices of 'big breeders', this disease is very common in pet ferrets. I still think they're totally worth it, but they can be very expensive pets with their medical 'shenanigans'.

A ferret that has no health problems should have a life span around 8 years, although some live into their teens. Ah yes, Hadafang = Arwen's sword .. I should have looked that up.

I'm totally jealous now, of course. LOL We don't have the scabbard yet - it was super-expensive when they brought it out. It's still on Scott's wish list though.
Sherry, sounds like a whole lotta cleaning going on in your neck of the woods! Hope it's all going well.
Eep .. must get back to work. Hi RM, Beth, Liz, Lily, Jeannie, Kim, TC, Alan and Kathy!

I would say Hi to Pam, but she obviously wasn't here.
