Morning all.

Happy belated birthday Jared!!!!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc
Congratulations to Jonathan on winning the costume contest.

I didn't count how may beggers we had. Didn't seem as many as last year. It was cold out, but we had our fire pit going. A couple neighbors stopped by to 'get warm'. Cassie and Nene Kremer roasted marshmellows. My brother, new to the neighborhood and on the main street, ran out of candy twice:eek: I warned him. We gave him candy after he ran out the first time. Todd told me to quit giving away his stash...I always have more than enough.

Better get to work!

Have a great week everyone....pictures of the girls in the next day or 2.

Good Morning - I'll be back later to do a "proper" ketchup.

Trick-or-treat here was Saturday night. I had 7.:( In the tgood old days, I used to get around 40-50, the last couple of years around 20. I was soooo disappointed. I had treats ready for over 100. (Well, I am a Scout mom and always prepared! ;))

DS (16) and his friends went to the town parade and then went trick-or-teating - it's a big thing in town and all teens and even college kids are welcome. Well - DS wore an inflatable ballerina costume - so he was quite hefty looking! He added a mullet wig, a crown and a wand that played what I called "diddly-wah" music! He sure entertained everyone! He would do these grand jetes and just had everyone howling with laughter! :)

DD and her BF went to a friend's party as an angel and the devil.

OK, here are my boys in their costumes. :teeth:

Amanda, I'll look forward to seeing pics of the girls when you can get them up. Sorry that you were giving away some of Todd's stash. I was an evil wife and took our left overs in to work and gave them to co-workers w/o even asking Luis about it. I just didn't need the extras around the house ;)

Pam, sorry you didn't have that many people show. Luis wasn't expecting any and we had more than usual :) Your DS's costume sounds great :teeth: Nice combination for your DD & her BF :p

Sherry, all the boys look great!!! Your nephew is adorable!

Speaking of trick or treating, there is one thread out there that just made my jaw drop. Giving rocks to kids? I know Charlie Brown had that but... wow... that seems so cruel to me :(

Elaine - I jumped in on that thread. (You know me and my big mouth.) My jaw dropped on some of the responses saying that the OP was creative and witty.....

Maybe if you knew ALL of the kids - and then gave them a nice treat ........

Pam, my jaw dropped at the *exact* same one you quoted!!! I couldn't believe anyone would say something like that. I realize some took it more as a joke, but as you said if you don't know the kids and you don't give them anything else??

Well let's just say I am refraining from posting because my big mouth there might get me in trouble.

actually refraining from saying more here now... if I weren't chicken I'd send out a nasty PM to someone ;)

When reading some of those posts one must consider the source  I didnt even open it, just passed on by. Now you 2 may make me go look ;)
Pam you should post a picture of your ds, I bet he looked great!
Sherry your boys look great! And what an adorable baby!

Which reminds me I had a dream last night was pg and my family member (like grandma, aunt, etc) were mad at me because they thought I already had enough kids LOL. Which is true, they do think that. I think I had the dream because my best friend is pg. Even though I dont think I want anymore it just seems like when you know someone who is pg it makes you second guess yourself--or atleast it does me.

Oh my stars - I had the same dream LAST week, Deena!

When I told the family DH said, "Okay!" (hey, we're 43 and 46 here, big guy!:o ), DS said, "Gross! ; and DD said, "You're just sad that I'm all grown up and away at college. But I think it would be great if you think you can afford to put a 3rd kid through college." :) That was until I pointed out that she would be put out of her room and most likely college, too!;)

Pam/Elaine...seen the post. I thought it was wrong of the individual, but I also thought some took it to far by saying they would have called the police.

Deena/Pam...I try not to have those dreams. I would love another child, some days more than others. I am just getting to comfortable with the girls getting at the stage where they can do things for themselves. Todd isn't too happy when I have those dreams. He really doesn't want to diapers/bottles again.

Oh my Deena!!! And you too Pam!!! I haven't had a dream like that in a long time! Last time I dreamt someone was pregnant it was my sister.

My only 'nightmarish' dream I've had lately was last night... I dreamed it snowed

Not ready for winter ;)

As for that thread... Deena, actually it was another who threw me over the top. The OP, I kind of guessed it could happen ;) And Amanda, I agree. I wouldn't have called the cops on them, but they sure would have heard by some means that I wouldn't have been happy with it. I don't understand why they didn't just turn the lights off

Have I mentioned that it is supposed to be 87 here today, tying our record high for November? :sunny:

This is why Lainey thinks an innocent guy like me is evil.

If the truth were known, I'm a nice guy but Todd already has the family guy, family of faith, two daughters role sewn up here.

So I'll have to give in to the dark side ;)

Oh Alan, you are NOT evil... and definitely not on the dark side... I have proof of that for ya

Elaine!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: at Obi Wan-Alan!!:D

Deena/Pam...I try not to have those dreams.

Trust me, Amanda, I TRY NOT to, too! :o

Please smack my hand when I get the urge to go back to the rock thread.... :(

Alan - it was 73 degrees on Sat., 68 on Sunday, hasn't reached 50 yet today.:( Heat is getting turned back on.

Lainey :worship: You da woman! ( And quite the Photshop Jedi yourself )

Yes, Pam...my secret is out ;) I have upgraded the axe to a lightsabre. I'll get back to the smokehouse ASAP, but I'm a little busy at the moment.

This stinking game warden wants me to have a license

Thank you Pam... I've been waiting for the right opportunity to throw that one out there :teeth:

Oh I just hope I don't have to go smack your hand... I havne't had a chance to check yet to see if you've posted or not ;)

And thank you Alan... I loved turning you into a Jedi Master :p
