How y'all doin'? Oh Pammy-not again! Isn't this the kitty that has wandered off before? Do ya think it'll come back when it gets hungry enough? (and I'm so worried about the cat that I'm not even going to segue into any comments about yer cookin' ) I hope it comes home soon and Autumn is none the wiser!

Sherry-what's going on with AMC??? I can't even remember what the last thing I saw was. Is it about Miranda and Bess? I can't believe that's STILL going on-UGH!!! Why don't they bring Leo back???

Hello YaYa's!!! I made it back from the World with the rest of the YaYa's!!

I was lucky, I got out before the bail money was needed!!

As you saw I met with Dave on Friday and then Elaine and Luis (I now know that it is pronounced with the spanish accent and not said "Lewis" ) I got to ride ToT with Dave and then again when Elaine and Luis arrived! We then rode Rock'n Roller Coaster and had a blast. I thought the Osbourne Lights were fantastic!! That night we retrieved Bethie and saw Illuminations. The finale was fantastic!! It took my breath away.

Saturday we met up at Epcot again and did Test Track, Mission Space (it was great to do it once, but that was enoug for me!). We then split up and went our separate ways for a couple of hours and took the opportunity to ride around on the Monorail for a while! That evening we met up at the MK for dinner and took in the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and BTM!! It was a blast. And yes Elaine, Beth and I had our hands up the entire time .

It was funny when we were waiting for RM because none of us knew exactly who we were looking for. So when I saw a woman looking at our group like she was looking for a group of strange looking people, I took a chance and called her Rosemary!! Sure enough we had found each other. Her sister all had the opportunity to experience yaya's for a bit. I think we skeered her away! We didn't even mention "the dance". However, I don't think I left a good impression on Cathy (or is it Kathy? or is it Cathi?). We were waitng for a bus back to Pop and there were two busses sitting there. So I suggested the second bus! OOOOOPPPPPSSSSS! We ended up standing all the way back to the resort! Sorry Cathy, please forgive me!

Sunday I hit the MK bright and early. I even saw Mariah Carey rehearsing for the taping of the Christmas special. I tried to get into CP for breakfast but they were booked the entire day .

I had a great time meeting everyone at Ice Station Cool. I met TC and DW Sue, KristaTX and KayTX, Lily and Ted, and JRKaren. It was so nice to finally have faces and voices to put with the posts. I can now read JRK's posts with that Boston accent!! I toasted Nancy with the Bevery shhh don't tell anyone I actually drank a watermelon one!

Bethie, Dave, and I went to MVMCP on Sunday night and had a great time. Although those people I had to plow down to get my t-shirt might not have been having a great time!! Actually, I calmly walked but there were people who acted like these were gold and they had to get their nugget! However, we prevailed and each got our Tshirts. I saw Wishes and the Parade. I finally got to ride Space Mountain too!

The worst part was leaving yesterday. Not just because I had part with my new RL friends but because Liz didn't ask for the weather to be nice in her neck of the woods. She sent us the good stuff in FL but forgot to request it for Chicago. So the plane that I was supposed to take out of MCO was hung up in St. Louis until the fog cleared. Then the plane had to go to Chicago, then to Jackson, MS, and then Orlando! So my 2:50 flight left somewhere around 6:45! I ended up buying myself a hand held game at Brookstone so that I wouldn't rip out my hair!

Okay, I've bored you enough. I will post more later so as not to have everyone's eyes too glazed over!!

Okay, here is the rest of the post.

Some thoughts...

First, I was surprised that no one appeared to be a serial killer or ax murder!!

Second, I enjoyed my mommy trip but I really enjoy seeing it through the kids eyes! I missed them and I missed seeing them and their excitment at the Christmas goodies!

Third, I'm not a commando trip person, I was complaining with my mom while we were all there that I wasn't getting enough done. This time I think I tried to do too much in a short amount of time.

Fourth, I'm glad to be home with my boys. I missed them terribly and I was really distraught when I wasn't sure I would be getting home last night. Alas, it all worked out well, and I'm at work now trying to finish up my post so I can do real work!

Oh and I brought back a cold from WDW. So I feel lousy today. But that is okay because I had a great time and I have met some great people!!!

and a whole bunch of DISers. There was a mini golf meet today and it seeems as though all is well with the YaYa's in the World. Pam, you might need to work on getting some of that bail money back! It may be needed!!!! I have been informed that a 12 step progam may be needed for Ted and Karen. Karen has been hitting the Jack and Coke pretty hard the past 2 nights at JellyRolls, (and she tells us all she is NOT a drinker) and I heard Ted was sitting comfortably UNDER the table after enjoying some sangria!! I am telling ya, you can dress some YaYa's but you just can't take them out!! But it does sound like a good time is had by all!! The golfing YaYa's say hello and wish we were ALL there to enjoy the good times being had by all!

Last I heard, Beth and Dave were heading to the Magic Kingdom for a day of fun and festivities. Then off to the MVMCP tonight for a little more fun and frolicking!!

Tara, sorry about your weather woes! Now, had I known you needed good weather last night...I would have ordered it! Since all of you have been gone it have been spending my life pretty much like Glad to hear you had lots of while you were there! Hope you are feeling better too!!! Glad to hear you finally made it home. I bet those boys are quite happy to see you!!

Sherry, more get better wishes to you and your family! You crack me up with all that AMC talk! I haven't watched that in years!! Last time I saw it, Bianca was a little girl! Oye! How time flies! I am going to have to go and take a look at those santa stamps! I was a dork and used my Disney ones......really didn't matter to me if they were Christmas Disney ones...just that they were Disney ones!!

Kimmar, so nice of you to take all the cabana boys off the hands of those who have ahve their hands full!!! How are things with you? Anything new going on your new neck of the woods?

Not much going on here. It is warm and rainey! What is up with that? I just want it ot start snowing. Doesn't even feel like December here! Oye!! Maybe I could start on making some Christmas cookies.....even though I promised myself I would not be doing that this year..... Oh well, I guess old habits are hard to break....besides.... Tara it sounds like you had an awesome trip!!! Im sorry you brought home a cold.

I got snagged today by eldest ds's guidance counselor. She was talking to me about what school eldest ds would be going to next year for middle school. She was quite pleased when I told her he would be going to the International Baccalauret (sp) program magnet school. She feels he would do best there since he is so bright. I was worried about stressing him out but she feels that he will do just fine and it is the best thing for him. It was nice to finally get a solid opinion on where he should go...everyone else was wishy washy and didnt want to give me a solid answer. I also saw the guidence counselor for the IB program high school when we went to the magnet showcase the other night and she made it a point to come up to me and strongly suggest that ds go to the IB middle school and then on to the IB highschool. Her exact words to the middle school teacher of the IB program who was standing there was "We WANT him he is brilliant. I have been watching him since Kindergarten." It was one of the proudest moments of my life....a little embarrasing also. He just will have so many opportunities at this school and so many more opportunities later on because these kids are sought after by colleges. If he keeps his grades up to an A he is assured a 100% college scholarship and if he happens to slip to B's he gets a 75% college scholarship. Plus I hear that there are special scholarships for IB deplomaed kids. They actually get a special diploma because of the program they are in. They also go into college as sophomores and sometimes as juniors depending on the classes they take. I'm just so very proud of that kiddo and so happy that we have found a school that he can use his special talents.

Sigh...why is it that lunchtime goes by so quickly. Back to work for me.

Well life as I knew it will cease to exsist!! For me and all of my YaYa friends!!! With all the flurry of activity going on in WDW, my phone has been a ringing...and I have been ringing others as well...I have talked quite a bit to both Karen and Beth. So tonight at dinner Greg my phone rings....it is Beth! All is well at MVMCP and they are all having a splendid time. I ask who is there and get a rather lenghty list of Yaya's and others....ie Dan Murphy!! So I tell Beth to say hello to Dan, give RoseMary a big hug and so on and so forth......and somehow I mention YaYa.......... Oh boy!! Big mistake! So Greg wants to know what a YaYa is. I procede to tell him. Of course JRKaren has taken early revenge on me as she knows there is something up for the JellyRolls meet...and tells everybody to make sure I know how there is NO oatmeal soap at the Swan. Of course I know better thna to beleive that!! Anyway, I procede to tell Beth about the YaYa ritual dance....and now Greg is really going (and he thought you were all just axe murderers)!!! SO now his really thinking we have all lost it! He then tells me that it would make for some good reality TV.....Internet TV gone reality!!! Of course he thinks I ought to be the star If that was not enough, I did the hole just a bit deeper and tell him all about hte Dance of the Seven Veals, our very own Road Kill Mamma........decided I better not even think about spilling it about the cabana boys!!!! So, now Greg thinks we are all nuts!!!

Funny thinkg is, he has personally met KathyTX, who has been hanging with the Yaya's a bit this past week, he has talked to both Beth and Karen a few times on the phone and actually knows that I really do know some of the people through meeting in Chicago. He shakes his head as if he has no clue..at first he let me know just how crazy al of this is, but he then admitted that deep down he knows what a great bunch of people you all are!! I definately have to agree!!

It is really funny to think that so many people, so many differant lifestyles, means of living, personalites, sizes and the list goes on and on....could have such a love for Disney and one another. I am so proud to be a part of this great group called the YaYa's.

We may be one heck of a silly bunch......but what a heck of a bond!! Thanks for your gift of friendship....each and every one of you!!

Then, towards the end, Bianca is thinking back and it finally hits her that Babe is telling the truth. Tomorrow's previews look good, too. JR & Jamie were locked in that warehouse together while B&B were together. JR and Jamie got into a fight, and in the previews, Jamie is laying on the floor unconscious.
