Welcome to the WISH Biggest Loser 7 Challenge

Last week I lost no weight - but also exercised only 1 day out of 7. This week I have exercised 3 days in a row, and have been munching on celery!

Why do I want to lose weight? To look FINE!!!

I definitely teared up during the show last night! But I'm glad the show was taped several months ago so we can see how well Jerry and Estella are doing.

Can anyone recommend a good treadmill..I am even more clueless with that, lol

I love my Nordic Track that I got at Sears in 2004. You can go there and check them out. They have one for many budgets. I think I got the middle of the road. Make sure it does things like calories, incline, etc.

I bought a SOLE f 63 last year and I love it.!!!!!! It has lifetime warranty on the motor and the deck. I was going to buy a SMOOTH treadmill ( also an excellent machine) but they wouldn't deliver on Saturday. My DH and I work and needed a Saturday delivery.
Price $ 999 free shipping

Wednesday's QOTD: What is your motivation to lose the weight?

To finally be able to live.
I have been hiding behind this weight for so many years I have lost count. I really want to lose the weight so that I can do all the things I havent done in so so long..
like wear a bathing suit and
swim in a pool again
learn how to ride a bike (yeah I know)
walk on the beach in the summer without wearing jeans
things like these...things I should do..things that I want to do but have been holding back out of doing with thoughts on what I will look like..etc
I have 2 girls now ..and they need an active ..healthy mom that they can be proud of and even more...I want to be proud of myself again and I havent been in a long time..so if thats not motivation for me then i dont know what is.

today has been great..hubby and I decided to buy a treadmill for the house..have no clue what kind to get or even where to begin but I want it here yesterday, lol so I need to get cracking
any suggestions on a good one?

hope everyone is doing well. last nights Biggest loser was awesome..and I really felt so emotional at the end.I wanted Jerry to stay so bad but I understood why they sent him home,
next week looks like another good episode! and wow I have never seen Bob get like that before!:scared1:

Thanks Melanie
Im going to look at the Sears site now. i found a cool one Bowflex series 7 on amazon but im afraid I will have to do assembly myself and it says it weighs 300 lbs so Im a little scared on this one,lol but it sounds great

My new pedometer (Omron) just came in, along with my cookbook. Had to order an another pedometer because mine took a plunge in the toliet - YUCK!

First the good news: I weighed in yesterday at WW and am down 1 lb! I wasn't sure because I went over my points (pretty significantly) so I'm super excited! :cool1:

I've had a rather "productive" day: I made two kids cry, jammed a printer and a copier multiple times, got told that nobody in town is hiring, missed my walk, went to take a bath and had the hot water get stuck in the on position, and was subsequently without water for over an hour and did not get to cook!

It was definitely a pizza night. At least it was whole grain pizza... :rotfl:

I bought it from the soletreadmill.com website. Free shipping includes curb side delivery. We did manage to have the deliver guy bring it to our back yard and up on our deck so we could get it in the house easier. If you pay $99 they will bring it in your home and into the room you want. For $239 they will completely assemble the treadmill in any room you want. (I just checked the website and this is applies. )

Just so you know it only took about an 1 1/2 hours to assemble the treadmill. I could have done it faster but my husband insisted on reading the instructions and helping me.

Not sure of the normal delivery time. Because we needed the Saturday delivery it took about a month. They contracted our delivery to another company to help us out on the Saturday.

Congrat's on the Weight Loss!!

Boy - sounds like you had a fun night NOT. Sounds like the nights I have had when DH is Afghanistan or Kuwait....just crazy OMG nights. Don't ya just love whole grain pizza!!

I just wanted to brag about a small victory today. We have goodies brought in by drug reps pretty often. Usually I manage to eat them. Which explains my too tight jeans!:lmao: Anyway, today there were cookies brought this morning and snack size candy bars brought this afternoon. I did not eat either! The best part is that I wasn't really even tempted to. I have been eating so much better that I didn't want to eat them. They just weren't worth it. You know?
:woohoo:

Wednesday QOTD:

My motivation is to feel good in my cloths, and to be comfortable in a bathing suit.

We spend a lot of time at the lake in the summer, and I feel very uncomfortable when we are somewhere where other people are. I either immediatle get in water, or just keep my cloths on over my suit and read while DH fishes.

Also, DH and I have a deal when I get to my goal he will stop dipping. B/c I want OH SOOOO badly for him to stop. I think it's so gross!!!

Good evening everyone!

My motivation is that Dh and I are trying to start a family and I want to be a healthy, skinnier host for my baby and a more energetic mommy! :goodvibes

I have to brag a little too. I have a challenge for myself that includes not eating out for lunch. If I don't do it all week I get money toward my Wii Fit, but if I eat out once I don't get any money. I also set a barrier that if I eat out more than once I have to deduct money from my Wii Fit fund. Well, I went out w/ my coworkers monday, meaning no money this week. But today they wanted to go out again. They were being pretty high pressure too! :sad2: I told them that I was Not eating out and that they could go without me. They did go and I stayed at work and ate my lunch from home. :cool1: :cool1: I had a brief moment when I wanted to give in, but I didn't! Baby steps, but important baby steps!

Have a great losing day tomorrow everyone and get those Last Chance Workouts in!!

Congratulations to all of you losers this week! I've managed to read all of the posts, and you are making some fantastic changes in your lives. My motivation is that I'm hoping to surprise my DH with a trip to Colorado for our 10th anniversary. He's a really outdoorsy (is that a word??) kind of guy, and I want to go white water rafting and horseback riding while we're there. I don't want to sink the raft or kill the poor horse while engaged in either of these activities. Also, after looking at pictures of myself, I've decided that one chin truly is enough for any human being, and I could do without my extras.

I've been doing pretty well with food this week...it helps that I've purged my house of my trigger foods...the thing I need to get back on track with (like some of you have posted as well) is exercise. I've lost 34 pounds since August, and I was doing so well with my daily exercise. I love to walk outside, and it is now cold here, really cold (our wind chills are -35 to -45). I don't have an excuse though, because I have exercise DVDs and the Wii Fit. I've just gotta do it.

Something you probably don't know about me...most everything since I'm a champion lurker and rare poster. The school that I work at is in a very rural area and literally surrounded by corn fields. When I have to go there at night to get work done, it makes me think of that movie "Children of the Corn" and kinda creeps me out. Good thing the kids I work with are sweet as can be. Have a great rest of the week and push hard toward that Friday weigh-in!!

:lmao: I completely understand what you mean. I was at home with the flu today and DH is working out of town, so it was a fish and chips dinner tonight. Not the greatest, but easy and bland for my tummy.

That's too bad, that your coworkers are high pressure, but now you've proven you can say no. :thumbsup2

My motivation to lose the weight is to be healthier, be more active, keep up with DD7 and DD3 as they grow up. Plus I really want to feel like I look good in pictures.:flower3:

Your school sounds like the "village" where I am doing my student teaching. It is 10 miles outside the town where I attend university. Now, most people consider my university town tiny and rural (17,000 people) but this is even smaller. The total population of the village is 534 people. We have 200 students in the entire school K-12 which are all in the same building. I pass lots of farms and trailers on my way there every morning. Right now I am seriously praying for no school tomorrow. The wind chill is below 30 and many of the area schools have already cancelled. I keep checking the list to see if I am on there.
