Busy day in Debsterland today, haircut for Bubble Boy, Shopping for new pants, shoot to my parents house and buy them some milk, coffee creamer bagles, etc for them. (They are coming home tomorrow after 7 weeks in FL)

Elaine and Jay...loved the kitty pics! Jay I have a Rajah too...but she is a calico...a crazy "beach cat"! We brought her home from a trip one year...she was a stray. She was born during a hurricaine....we attribute her "personality" to that!! I have always loved maine coon cats! When we used to ski in Vermont there was a little shop that I loved to visit...the owner had a Maine coon....but that cat must have weighed close to 30 pounds!!! Biiig kitty!

OK ya'll....coffee is calling! I hope everybody has GREAT days!!!

Good Morning!!

I have to babysit this morning, so I am up early. Blech! At least I got my exercise in this morning, though.

Some friends are coming over later today with their 3 boys. Gonna be a housefull of boys! Not sure what we'll do....probably just order some food and hang out and watch movies, while our boys play video games.

Elaine and Jay, such cute kitties!! I need to take some new pics of my Tinkerbell.

Marilyn--No pets here either. I am allergic to anything with fur (and feathers) so it just is not worth it to me for my quality of life. Bubble Boy wants a goldfish, we may relent next year.

This is the first year mom and dad did the snowbird thing. My Dad retired from the Fire Dept 3 years ago, and my mom retired from teaching last June. I think they are HOOKED. They already have a place lined up for next year.

Ummmm-I just had the BEST cup of coffee, no idea why, it was just super. Wish I could remember what I did.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

I slept in this morning and woke up with a nasty headache. Teach me to sleep in again LOL. Coffee and a couple of Tylenol and I should be good to go.

This morning should be interesting. We have to take our eldest for bloodwork and an Xray this morning. We are working with a ped endocrinologist to find out why he is so much shorter than the other kids in his class and other kids his age. He may just be petite but I want to make sure its not his meds causing it or that we have a growth problem. I hope he doesnt freak out about the blood part.

I think we will take him to get something special at the store after that.

Deb sounds like you have a very busy day planned too. I bet both you and Bubble Boy are very anxious to see your parents again.

I'll pass on the bubbly...sticking to gingerale at the moment. Emergency root canal Thursday and then a strong margarita last night on top of a day of ibuprofen...not smart and definitely not good for the tummy this morning bleeeeeeech! Myabe tomorrow if you have any bubbly left I'll come back then

Morning, everyone!

Deb, fellow allergy sufferer, here--anything with fur or feathers. Had to give up my favorite coat in high school because it was trimmed with rabbit!! Had a turtle when I was about 8, but it got away Had fishies for awhile, but aquariums breed mold/mildew and I'm allergic to that too! Getting shots now and would love to have a Great Dane someday! Have a great time running errands and welcoming the family home from Florida!!

Karen, hope the coffee and Tylenol kick in quick for ya! Also, hope the Dr. doesn't find anything wrong. My ADHD son was on Ritalin for about 11 years. Never had any kind of growth problem (other than he's skinny as a rail!) and he grew to 6'2"!!

Mornin', Marilyn!! Gonna be able to work in the garden today? The landscape crew is hard at work here at the office and they brought a huge truckload of mulch to spread all around the building. I'm hoping they have flowers too! Geez, there are 2 leaf blowers and 3 weedeaters or edgers going right now. How can they stand all that noise??!!!!

OK, back to the grindstone for awhile.....have great days, everyone!!
