Seems that the thunder storm has passed. Ahhh... gotta love a good thunder and lightning show!!

Hi Kim! How are you sweetie? Oh, I love a good thunder storm. Love to listen to the rain and thunder. DH likes to sit in the enclosed part of the deck and watch the lightening. I get sceared doing that. Enjoy your book and rest.

I'm with your DH Marilyn!! What I wouldn't give for an enclosed deck to watch a storm from!! I love'em!!! My rest was nice... finished my book (they lived happily ever after... dont'cha just love happy endings?!) but didn't really sleep...the thunder was too loud.

OMG he types sooooooooooooooo s l o w and he is on my computer because I have the printer. I keep wanting to go and type it for him to get it done but I cant do that. Its type type wiggle wiggle, spin around in the chair, type type wiggle wiggle, look at the wall like something miraculous is going to happen, type type. I finally got a chair from the dining room so he couldnt spin anymore. ROFL

Bwahahahaha!!! I can SO identify with this!!! Guess what Karen? It doesn't get any better any time soon either. Mine still does it. His gimmick is to flop this way and that. He sits at the kitchen booth, does a math problem, flops over on the bench.... sits up, does another problem, flops the other way on the bench... gets up, wanders off... doesn't know why or where he's headed when you ask, comes back, crawls onto the bench, lays down until I tell him to get up.... again and again and again and....

What's a stink stopper? Never mind... I probably don't want to know!

Funny story ya'll!!! We were coming out of the restaurant this evening. We had been discussing the pros and cons of buying dd a horse...there were more cons! But she was still thinking of arguments on the way out the door...ds stopped, looked at her and said "You will own a horse when the little piggies fly!!!" OHHHHBWAHAHAHAHAHAHA....I was laughing so hard I couldn't MOVE!!! THAT"S my BOY!!!

OK--DH is 'meeting' his buds online in about 5 minutes, so I have NO time to ketchup.

Hope everyone had a nice day, we were at the party for my MIL. Found out some exciting news, a SIL is expecting with her third. This will make grandchild #18 for my ILs. (DH is one of 8 kids, so the family is huge to begin with).

I'll see everyone tomorrow!!

The report is FINALLY finished. I swore he would never get through with that thing. I have to admit I did type the last paragraph. Things were quickly getting to a hysterical pitch here with him. When he gets stressed out he gets hysterical on me. He recited just the last paragraph and I typed it. He did a really good job on this report. A lot of information in a compact format! I think the next time he has a report like this or something big to do over the weekend we will give meds. Im sure on meds he would have gotten this done much sooner and with far less stress around here. We take him off meds on the weekend to give his body a break. He is not growing much at all and we are very concerned. In fact we go to the ped endocrinologist tomorrow to have him checked out.

I am glad to hear that my kiddo is not the only one who does this sort of thing when he has homework etc... It was truely at an awful level today. Im not used to seeing him like this doing work like this because he normally has his meds during the week when he is doing homework or reading etc.... This was truely an interesting thing to watch and a reinforcer to me that he truely DOES need his meds. There are times I get the guilts over him being on meds but things like this remind me and show me that he really does need them and they really do help him a lot.

All right!! Tomorrow's dinner is in the crockpot and will be done when I get up in the morning!

Oh man, did I ever score at the grocery store!! DH didn't read the fine print and the 99 cents a lb. corned beef was the point cut and we prefer the flat cut. Still, $2.49 is better than $3.98 a lb! But I scored over 6 lbs. of new potatoes for only $1.18 and 2 1/2 lb. head of cabbage for only 22 cents!!! So we splurged and got a loaf of Irish soda bread (never tried it) for a special treat.

Jodie, sounds like the Cubs had a great time tonight! Doncha love it when meeting plans work out so well?!! Smart DS you got there, too--little piggies--Hee-hee!!!

Hi Shep!! sigh.......I have such great memories of the Shrine circus at the Gardens when I was a kid. Glad the girls had a good time.

Ah, Karen sneated in and answered my question before I got it posted! Interesting that you have him off his meds for the weekends. When my DS was on Ritalin, we kept him on it all the time because the Dr. told us the yo-yo effect was not good for him psychologically. I had to agree because he would be so depressed whenever he was not on his meds since he couldn't maintain control.

Marilyn, we are celebrating St. Pat's a day early because DH will be gone tomorrow.

Well, there was some type of noise in the neighborhood. Sounded like gun shot. Steve and Chris both heard it because they were in the front of the house. I heard nothing. Neighbors have been calling each other. We have been watching through the windows. So I am going to stop for a while until things settle down. I am sure it is nothing but I think I need a break.
