Hello Chocolate Lovers!

I'm alive and well, and finaly caught up on this thread. Thanks for all the prayers and PD and all the well-wishes. I have the lap top now so I can DIS standing up.....but I find I'm not too interested in standing STILL for very long...LOL! So you may not be seeing a lot of me till I can sit again....but I will be popping in to keep up with you all.

Well, I must go check out my "Lost" threads before the show is on tonight...don't know which episode is a repeat tonight...but they're all good.

Take care all.

P.S. pfishgirl....I'm so glad you had a great time at WDW....so wish I could have been there too ::yes::

Evening everyone!!

Ummmm... well today since the freshmen and juniors had to take the TAKS, the 10th grade at a movie day from 8:30-12 in the auditorium. We watched "Holes" and the first 30 minutes of "Finding Nemo." I was shocked that the auditorium was actually pretty quiet during the shows. I mean, a bunch of 'mature' sophmores sitting through TWO!! Disney movies?? SHOCK!! Lol! I might not be so weird after all...

Tomorrow I have the history TAKS, so that should be interesting... I gotta go and study... (I've NEVER studied for a TAKS test before, don't ask why I'm doing it now...)

Nice to see you back IBOUNCETOO!! Here's PD to your healing body...

Howdy all, where is everybody???

I guess I shouldn't tell Nephosaurus, but the chocolate truck came by today and left some QVC boxes... I wonder what could be inside.....

Oh well, I got buried at work as soon as I came back from Lunch... Just now getting home to an empty house..... hmmm

Hey everybody, Shhhh, don't tell OhanaFamily, we all snuck out to San Antonio on a
ROAD TRIP!!!!!
It was quite the adventure, and I get to see cousin Boomer. He lives here, and we came out here for passover. Actually, OhanaFamily is flying out here to meet us Saturday Night, but it was a scary trip down here. My sister and I rode in the front seat (we had our seatbelt on, but I don't think we are technically old enough to sit up front yet. We stopped in the city of "West" Texas for some Kolaches, and I got to hold them (a few might have accidentally disappeared too...)

My crystal ball is at home, so I can't look for Tigger Fans! or Huggabaloo; but I will look for them when I get home.

OK, I have to get off of the computer now, IAN wants to post!

Hello, Thank you Mr. Dragon for letting me on the computer. I had a new experience today... My first diaper change in a truck stop. AND IT WAS A VERRY POOPY ONE TOO! It got a little scary when the rain started, I am so glad we took Daddy's SUV.

Mommy is in the other room talking to my Aunt, and My cousin keeps brining this big riding beast (he calls it a dog named Boomer) I think mr. green dragon is a little scared of being eaten.

Good night everybody!!!

After having a nice tall glass of chocolate milk, I thought I would stop by :)

geffric Is that cat a long haired tortie? I have a short haired tortie. They are such sweet cats!

Not to push the "mommie mobile" but this is where a van or a hatchback comes in VERY handy. As the little ones got older and more grabby, we became a little more picky about the potties where we changed the girls. They would (my DD2 still does!) grab for anything near the changing table.

Yet we found truck stops to have some of the nicest restrooms (since they depend on repeat business from people who need to do business). It is the fast food ones that have made us cringe.

Hi all, just a quickie. I try to get things done when the house is quiet!!

Congrats DANA. Hope the raise comes thru.

IAN, sounds like your road trip was fun. But no more poopies at truck stops!

Good to see IBOUNCE around. Hurry back!

DHSsenior, good luck on your tests today.

off to the races...

Yeah Ibounce so glad to have you back. Not the same without you.

Ian thank you for keeping up the tradition of poopy diapers in odd places. My DD gave me a nice poopy diaper just as our flight was taking off two years ago!

Morning.. quick stop to say hi and bring some breakfast chocolate chip bagels with chocolate chip cream cheese, chocolate peanut butter bagels with chocolate peanut butter cream cheese and chocolate fudge bagels with chocolate fudge cream cheese, got Cocoa and Starbuck lattes...

Congrats DANA , you deserve that and so much more.

Ian thanks for the info, glad that you are enjoying the road trip and leaving little presents along the way LOL... had a poopy diaper on a plane story too and it was one of those blowout ones, yep so bad that I just stripped and toss all of the clothes along with it...

TTFN back to work

Hi all, I can honestly say that it has been one of THOSE days. Everything is working out for the best, but... Any day where your DW's car tells you in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that it has the same opinion of you that you have of it.....

Last night I was at work until almost 9:00 working on a Bulk Mailing. I got on the road around 7:30, made it to my PO a few minutes after 8:00, that is when the fun started. One of the pieces was larger than a standard letter, it was a "FLAT" This means that I had to repackage and add stickers to one of my 2 mailings. Then, I forgot that they don't want rubber bands on the "Letter Machine Workable" mail, so I had to take off the rubber bands on those. Then I realized that he mixed up my trays and had to redo a couple of them. This was not a fun morning. I called my eye Dr, and told them I would be an hour late...11:00 I get finished "Re-Working my mail, and hget into line. There are 2 people at the desks, one was helping me most of the morning. They tell me to sign in and wait. 11:10, I am still waiting...11:15 the one that was previosly helping me finishes checking over what she was checking and walks out. I strike a conversation up with the other one and she tells me that she is not a teller, and the other teller was about to go on break and the next one wasn't due until 12:30. I casually mentioned that I was almost an hour late for my Dr. Appt. when the other girl came back in and asked if I could do this as a Drop&Go. She took pity on me (and got my cell phone number), and at 11:20 I was freed. DW's car actually started, and I got to the Dr.s office 1:10 minutes late. This is the Dr. that makes you wait all day to see him... Ouch... Well here I got licky; he had to be somewhere at 2:00, so he had me in and out by 1:30. There was lots more bad stuff today, but the worst part is, I miss DW & DS & DDragons.....

QOTD, Sine Ian had a good Diaper Story, what is your best diaper story (OK, this is for the parents/babysitters out there)

:jumping2:

Hello all my chocolate loving friends :wave2: - I haven't been Dising since Saturday. The weather over the weekend was so wonderful that we were outside alot!! :sunny: As a result of being outside alot lately - my poor house has just been neglected. So....everyday since Sunday night I have been coming home from working and cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning. I told my DH that I could use a really good rainy weekend to catch up on my housework. ::yes::

I really missed all you guys! :grouphug: I knew that if I checked in here, I wouldn't be able to leave and then the cleaning would not get done. I'm going to have to read everyone's posts and see whats been going on around here - all good things I hope!! :)

Well....I better be off. Stephanie has dance class in about 1/2 hour, so I better help her get ready and we are off again.

I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you all really soon!!

slo

OK, I feel MANLY now, I just fixed 2 toilets...

One was making a g-d awful noise, I cut it off and turned it back on and realized that the noise was coming from the cutoff valve. I opened it and closed it a few times and I think the noise is gone. If the noise comes back it's Plumber Time. Then I flushed our guest bathroom toilet and it wouldn't stop running. So I replaced the cutoff valve... I guess when the DW and DS goes out of town, Bachelor Repair Grunting mode can still kick in.....

BTW, it really has been one of those days, gotta ge up early because the exterminator is coming. It seems or kitchen is ant infested. I do not want to be anywhere near DW if she comes home and finds a column of anys running across where she likes to put DS's Bouncy Seat... Not a pleasant thought.....

Well, this probably isn't the best one of all, but its the best one (or should I say worst?) one that I got! I was babysitting 3 kids (I babysit them a lot!), whose ages are 8, 4, and 2. That is definitely fun! Anyway, the 2 year-old girl had a really poopy diaper one time. I mean REALLY!! I COULD NOT be in the same room as the little girl! She was screaming, I was gagging, it was not fun! Then I remembered that their grandmother had said if I ever needed ANYTHING, I could just call her (she lived a block away). So I called her and she totally understood what I was talking about. Nothing like poopy diapers to help you abstain!

Anyway, today was okay. The history TAKS was pretty easy. Tomorrow I have chemistry, so I'm kind of worried about that one. Tonight was Aggie Muster (if anyone doesn't know what that is, just ask!), so my parents took me to it. WOW! I finally think I know where I'm going to college! And it's also the college Blake wants to go to! ;) :earboy2:

Have a great night everyone!

Vinegar... it works magic. It is not exactly the smell you want in your home... but it is a way to get rid of ants in the short term. With the family out of town, you have the perfect time to call in the big guns. But if you are ever wanting to try something a little less "chemical" use a spray bottle of vinegar. They come back in about 4 days, but it works in a pinch. Our ants are very localized. The are water seekers. So they are NOT in the kitchen and the food. They come into both bathrooms. So it is an area we do not mind giving a good spray of vinegar.

Another thing vinegar is good for is pee (human not animal). One week at my DD4 old daycare, they forgot to let us know that she had a couple of accidents. So when we got her underwear back, they had been bagged for days. We washed them several times, and the pee smell would not come out. One of the daycare supervisors told us to soak the clothes overnight in vinegar. It took out all the smell.

We now buy huge jugs of the stuff at costco.

Actually, Boric Acid does wonders for lots of pests, but it isn't so environmentally friendly. I also have a couple of cannisters of Bagone (sp) left at work from when they could use real chemichals (It is a diluted nerve toxin...not really wanting to use it anywhere near the baby...)

At any rate, Exterminator will be here in the AM, and I have been informed that Babies room is a priority while he will be away for a few days. Also Silverfish in the Loo, and other bugs under the counters in the kitchen. When they cam once a month we never had these problems, but now since"It Isn't Necessairy" they only come once a quarter (but will return if there is a problem). But they never lowered my rate.....Grrr...

Oh well, It Is Midnight, so time for beddy bye... Chocolate Dreams...

PS, DHS, I know you have it covered, but good luck on the chem test...
