Yes, Lots of PD to Ibouncetoo!!!

Oh, DHS, Please remember to check your clothes for holes BEFORE going to school... (LOL)

:jumping2:

Good evening everybody :wave2: - and how are you all tonight? Things are going well here. We've been really slow at the store lately :bored: , which is a drag, but we are slow every spring so it is to be expected.

DHSsenior007 - I was shocked when I saw that you haven't had Tonga Toast before. You must come with geffric and I the next time we go to The Poly for breakfast. Tonga Toast is heaven on a plate :cloud9: and you just have to try it!! Yummy!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes Oh.....better luck tomorrow w/ your pants ;) and take care of those eyes. Keep us posted on what the eye doctore says - here comes PD your way :wizard: . Take care of yourself!! :)

ohanafamily - I'm glad to here that you were able to get more sleep. Thanks for asking about BabyKate - she is doing so much better :flower: . She's finally back to her normal self. To answer your question about going to the doctor - I didn't take her, but I talked to my Pediatrican a couple times over the phone. Kate has had so many illnesses in her 19 months of life that I have developed a great relationship w/ my Pediatrican and if she can treat Kate over the phone than she will. We are really blessed to have her as a doctor. On a different subject....I've been having problems w/ going to the color wheel. Many times after I'm done getting a member name, I go back to my text and it is gone. :guilty: This happened 3 times to me tonight which is why I'm using the bold instead of the colors. Do you have any suggestions on what I am doing wrong. Please let me know - remember...I'm pretty clueless :confused3 when it comes to computers.

s&ksmom - Get well soon to your DD - here comes a ton of PD your way :wizard: Keep us posted on how she is doing.

geffric - thanks for the update on ibouncetoo. It's good to hear that she is home. Also...thanks for meeting me at The Poly this morning. I had a very nice time at breakfast and the Tonga Toast was sweet and yummy as normal

ibouncetoo - if you are on the computer - it's good to hear that your home. Take care of yourself and get well soon!!! :grouphug: Here's PD for you :wizard: and some get well flowers :flower2: :daisy: :daisy: :flower2:

Well....I'm going to be on my way. I hope you all have a great day tomorrow and I will talk to you all then.

slo

I forgot to mention something!!

RadioDisney.com has this really cool thing where you can go design your own shirt. I let Stephanie go on and make her own custom shirt and she thought it was really cool. I just thought I would let you guys know in case you would be interested. Currently they have free shipping, but I don't know how long that will last.

I'm going for good now - Good Night!!

Good morning, my dd was kind enough to give me her cold. She is much better and off to school this am which she misses.

Good morning!

Thanks for the PD everyone! I left my contacts out all day yesterday, and I just put them back in. So far my eyes are just a little red, but nothing else is bothering me.

Sush about my pants! I have no idea how that happened, the rip looks like something got caught on it or something like that. I guess that's my one embarrassing moment of my HS career...

s&k'smom, I hope you get to feeling better! At least your DD is feeling fine...

s&ksmom, PD on the cold...

DHSsenior007, put a patch over the hole and be in-style.... I never wore contacts, but sometimes if they don't get cleaned properly can't they irritate your eyes? If you need a recommendation for a good eye doctor, I know a few.....

slo, PD to you for babykate having so many sick days, kudos on getting to know your Dr. well. As far as the color wheel goes, I had a similar problem that I would hit a key after double clicking on the box. If you hit the space bar before you type ctrl-c, the space replace the highlighted text. Another thing that someone did was to use the ctrl-x (cut) this makes the text disappear (but it does load it so that the ctrl-v will work). I hope this helps...

OK, gotta go...

No time to read right now, but just had to share...

Hi all, I am in a grumpy mood today... Yesterday I made an attempt to give some sympathy to a co-worker, It came out wrong, he heard it worse, he walked off, I was going to give him a few minutes to calm down, we both got busy, he found me a few hours later, I apologized, I thought all was OK.... Well, there is a very strong backstabber in my office that he is close to. I wound up being called on the carpet over this. I really do get tired of the BS, but I get even more upset when they seem to know exactly what I said but won't tell me what that guttersnipe has said. It is all part of it and I refuse to sroop to her level. I just get tired of it. I am sure that there is a special type of hell reserved for her, but the worst part is that they believe her third hand account when there is no real situation. She is upset with me because, well she wanted to have the office buy bar=bq today for someone coming by the office, I just wanted to buy that person lunch. She also wanted it to be her idea. Well, let's just say she got her way and I won't get any barb-q. sometimes she can be a real Bichon... (apology to Barb)... I am just feeling grumpy...Thanks for letting me rant.

QOTD, have any of you been to a "Viewing", and what is the etiquette?

I'm sorry your feeling so bad Ohana. I have a cold and feeling grumpy myself. I do identify with what you said as I have been an unfortunate victim of office "stuff". Let's jump in the chocolate pool and drown ourselves in it!

Well, I just got back from the optometrist and the verdict is: conjunctivitis. He said it's either from allergies or an infection like pink eye. No!! But he gave me a prescription, so then I get to put one drop of it in each eye four times a day! Woohoo!! Gotta go....

Hello everyone - we just got home from a busy day today. I had to take BabyKate to Stephanie's gymnastics class and Katie was naughty. We ended up sitting in the car and watching the Wiggles. Thank God for the VCR in the van.

s&k'smom - I hope you feel better soon!! PD to you!! :wizard:

DHSsenior007 - I'm so sorry to here about the conjuctivitis :guilty: . Have you had this before?? I've been through this a couple of times with Katie and it is very contagious if it is the viral form. Since your not sure what it is, just make sure your careful so it doesn't spread to other members of your family. My Pediatrician even recommends using a different hand towel to keep the virus from spreading and change your pillowcase after you sleep. Good Luck - tons of PD coming to you :wizard:

ohanafamily and RRBB - Ian's photo is great!! He's a beautiful boy - you are very blessed. :) It was good to here from you RRBB, I hope all is going well with you!! ohanafamily - I'm sorry to here about your bad day at work today and thanks for the computer tip, I'll give it a try. Also...when you say a "viewing", I'm assuming you are going to the wake for your coworker that passed away. When I go to a "viewing" I just go stand at the casket for a moment, say a prayer, and then speak to the family. If the gentleman that passed away is Catholic, you will see a kneeler for prayer, but you don't have to use it.

What does everybody have planned for the weekend? The weather here is going to be fantastic, so I am going to be outside alot working in the yard. I just found out that we have Poison Ivy in the yard and this makes me nervous for the girls. Our friend that helped my DH in the yard last Saturday got it, and now he's itching like crazy. I can only hope that they don't touch any of it - I'm going to have to look Poison Ivy up online and see some pictures of it so I can recognize it better.

I'm going to be on my way and get some things done around here before I sit done to watch some tv. I hope you all have a good night and a great tomorrow!!

slo

Good morning, kids are busy this morning but the afternoon is free to enjoy the weather. Next week is school vacation so we hope to get a few things done. Now that we are hopefully all recovering from our spring colds.

Good Morning :wave2: - according to the weather man, it is suppossed to be a "sun-sational day" today :sunny: .

I have something to report about my night last night.
:scared1: I HAVE A MOUSE IN MY HOUSE!!!! :scared1:
Stephanie and I were watching Stuart Little and she was in a chair and I was on the couch. All of a sudden I saw this big mouse run from under the chair to the side of the coffee table - then I couldn't see it anymore. I thought "no way :sad2: , I'm just imagining it" I mean earlier that day I had to remove a half dead mouse from the store (actually the mailman ended up doing it because my coworker and I were to wimpy to do it) and then we were watching a movie about a mouse - way to coincidental!!! :earseek:

I wanted to ask Steph if she could see it, but then she would FREAK OUT  . So...as I started to move, it then took off and ran into the laundry room. The sucker was pretty big :earseek: . Then as we were finishing the movie it ran down the hall, went under the basement door, and then it was gone.

I have mice at work all the time - and that doesn't bother me to much because it's not my home. We had mice briefly in the old house, but we put out poison and then they were gone. I guess we are going to have to put out poison again. We live next to a forest, so I guess mice are going to be a way of life, but they just gross my out  . The thougt of them possibly running over the babies toys and then she puts them in my mouth make me sick to my stomach.

So that was the excitement last night - I wish DH wasn't out of town, because I would of had him out buying traps and poison last night. Oh well....I guess he can do it tomorrow. I just hope that little sucker doesn't show himself tonight because my family is coming over for dinner.

s&k'mom - it's good to hear that you are all getting over your colds. I hope you have a good day today!! :sunny:

Okay..I will talk to you all later - have a great day!!! :sunny:

Good morning everyone!

Last night my family went out to eat, then my brother took me to his college so we could see their dance team's spring show. They had really good kicks, but not anything else... anyway....

My eyes are still bothering me a little bit, just my right one actually. Thanks for the PD everyone!

My friend and I are going to see Fever Pitch this afternoon and then we might go work out or something afterwards.

Slo, good luck with that mouse problem! Hopefully he won't make a guest appearance at your family dinner!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

DHSsenior007, take care of those beautiful eyes!!!!!

slo, yes, it was an open casket. Today is the funeral. TagBabyIan and RRBB are staying home...

BTW, My day is muchbetter today. It always seems to get better with PD from the Dis...
:jumping2:

It's been a long morning around here, and I'm sooooo tired. Someone - and I'm not mentioning any names - decided since I jumped out of bed when baby woke/cried at 3am that I should be the one to feed him. Doesn't matter that I'd just crawled into bed a couple hours before and he wouldn't be around to do the next feeding. Let's just say I'm in a rather grumpy mood this morning. But it has been productive. I've already fed baby twice since 7:30, plus made/given him his medicine, and he's had a bath so he smells nice and sweet. It's impossible to get him to nap in his bed/PNP, so he's currently asleep (I think) in his swing. Now it's time for me to get a bite to eat and get myself dressed. We don't have any real plans for the day but may have a visitor later this afternoon. Guess I'll try to get some laundry done while it's quiet around here.

hope your eyes get better.. as I am sure EVERYONE has told you wash your hands over and over and keep them away from your eyes, change towels etc..

So I will tell you a conjunctivitis story.. once upon a time, when my boys were 3 and 1 , both of my boys got it.. it so happened to be that being as contagious that it is, so did I... we left to drive to WDW for vacation... stopped at each 4 hour period made the boys lay down on the benched in McD, get their eye drops, and then ( cause they were so good and let mommy give them drops with out any fussing), then they got a big ice cream... this did take quite a bit of time and all 3 of us to be dropped... we also were very careful at the parks that trip and I hand wipped everything the kids touched before and after to stop the spread of the conjunctivitis... Luckly we are DVC and I could wash the linens and towels daily... and I was so happy for the eye issue to clear up..

I'm bored. It's Sat night DS is watching Incredibles, DD just came downstairs with her summer hat on and I'm afraid to see what she's done to her room.

Oh I do have a movie recommendation. If you haven't seen Ray yet with Jamie Fox GET IT! I now understand why he won the Oscar, absolutely fantastic.

I could really use a Hershey bar now.
