I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get the "Welcome" song to Brother Bear? I searched on Itunes -- and couldn't find it. I don't want to have to buy the whole soundtrack, but wondered if there was a site were I could buy that one song. I love it -- they play it so much at DL and it just remineds me of how much fun our family has at Disneyland! I am making a slideshow on our computer with all of our DL trip photos and wanted to use that song to go along with it. Anyways, if anyone can help, that would be great!
thanks!! :wizard:

the POD version is quite a bit different than the soundtrack version.

so the first question is which version are you looking for? or does it not matter?

of course it's the one Disney Mania album I don't have on me, but evidently #2's version by Jump5 is the POD version (just a different recording obviously). not sure that will help with iTunes though. amazon.com sells it as a download but only as part of the album.

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize there were different versions out there. Is the POD version the same as the one they play at the gates of DL when it first opens? That's the version I would like to get. I'll check out Amazon, too. :goodvibes

there are lyrical differences between the two, but i'm pretty sure the chorus (which the POD version starts with) is actually the same. i'm guessing they don't play the whole song at opening anyway.

I can burn a copy and mail it off to you if you want. Want the whole album or just that one song? Or, wait, is that illegal? LOL. Can't believe you don't know anyone withthe album, it's Phil Collins!! afterall. (Saw him in concert a few times, but never sings that album.)

Thank you -- you are sweet for offering to burn a copy. I think I'll buy the Disney Mania album so I can have that song. That way there won't be any copyright issues :-) LOL
I know, I can't believe noone in my family has that Phil Collins album. We used to love him when we were in high school (remember "Against All Odds"). I might have to pick up that album as well!!
