welcome meetings

After many discussions we have now changed hotels from the Rosen Plaza I-drive to the Courtyard by Marriott in the walt Disney World Resort LBV.
We are under the impression that virgin no longer hold their welcome meetings at the theatre in downtown disney, is this correct? If so do Virgin have an office in any of the hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area, where we could get phone cards to call home. Thanks in advance.

We stayed at CBM this year late Aug/early Sept with Virgin.

We were told on arrival at the airport that the welcome meeting would be at another DD hotel - The Wyndham Palace.

We didn't bother attending however

Depending on the hotel they will either visit you or ask you to go to ahotel nearby.

It wasnt so much a welcome meeting as a quiet chat really. She asked us if there was anything we wanted and we just talked for a bout 10 mins.

No pressure, no hard sell but I suppose this is really down to the rep you get.

We were at Comfort Inn LBV earlier this month and were told on arrival that our Rep would be in our hotel the following morning.

Did not need her 'til later in the trip and were able to ring Virgin to ask when she would next be with us from their schedule. Were told and saw her the following morning - very pleasant two minute chat to just sort out Virgin Valet payment.

All in all, no need for trip to a big high pressure meeting any longer.

Sorry, forgot to mention that their nearest office to LBV is at the Hotel Nikki Bird, close to junction of I4 and US192, just west of WDW Maingate.

Suppose that is ten minutes drive each way from LBV or quite close to AK, Disney-MGM or Blizzard Beach if you are visting any of these parks.
