Welcome Home Wednesday

We are going to be staying with my dad about an hour away from WDW for Christmas, and we were thinking of going to the WHW on Christmas Eve. Will there even be a WHW on Christmas Eve? Does anyone know?

What are they giving away at the end of the WHW these days? We got cool "string" backpacks when we were there in August, and I heard people were getting hats before that. I would love to get a hat.

I just received an email for our upcoming visit and it mentions Welcome Home Wednesdays. I would think that they are having one on Christmas Eve because it only stated that there wasn't one on New Year's Eve.
