Welcome Home Wed & Merry Mixer

I will be down at Disney for two weeks and was curious if the Welcome Home Wed. will continue through the month of Dec with the Merry Mixer. Also what is to be expected of the Merry Mixer. We never been to it and was curious about it.

I look forward to the Merry Mixer when we visit this year. If you go on the DVC website, they have a description of it on there.

We went to our first Merry Mixer last year. If my memory serves me correctly, last year they were on Thursday afternoons from 3-5 pm just outside the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. They served cookies and beverages, and they had photo opportunities with the characters with Fastpass photographers there. They also gave everyone a free Christmas ornament on the way out.

I'm waiting on the dates for the Merry Mixer to be announced. Last year, it was held on Thursday afternoons, but Christmas day is on Thursday this year. I don't know if that would have any bearing on the dates or not. I just want them to announce them already, because I will only be there for 4 days in December...hoping I can make another Mixer. I've been to two so far, and it was fun. I was able to get a lot of great pictures of my young neices with the characters there two years ago...hoping to do the same this year!
