Welcome Home Reservation for newbie

New to DVC! Purchased with Poly as home resort. Looking to travel Aug 12, 2020 for 8 nights. If I understand correctly I can book Sept. 12, 2019. Is that correct? What time do reservations open? Both phone and online? As a Kindergarten teacher it is going to be nearly impossible to call so hoping to do it online. Do you think I will have difficulty booking a Poly studio at 11 months out for mid August? Is it quick and easy to book online? My time will be extremely limited in the morning. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, you can book on Seot 12thl. Online starts at 8 am and phone at 9 am est.

I don’t think you will have any problem booking that time of year at Poly, especially given the 2 views to choose from. If you need to save time, then once you secure the room, just enter the first person into the reservation. When you have more time, then go back and modify the guests to add everyone else,

You should be able to wait several days - perhaps even several months - before availability tightens at that time of year at the Poly. So don't panic if on September 12th you can't get in. Those rooms will still be available on the 13th or 14th. The rush and headaches are for rooms where there are a small number and huge 11 month demand.

Only once or twice with questions of availability have I've said "I guarantee it" and now I get to say it for a 3rd time. If you book anytime on the day your 11 month window opens you'll get the PVB room - I guarantee it. And Crisi is correct - you could probably wait months and still book it.
