welcome home party

Just wondering if there is a welcome home party for dvc members each week? at every resort or just one? what kind of things do you do at the event? what hours is it open?

It's Welcome Home Wednesday, held at the Atlantic Dance Hall, from 4-5 on Wednesdays. Sometime, like between Christmas and New Years one is not held.

You get some treats, you get a gift as you're leaving, and there are chances to win prizes. If you get selected to be a contestant, you will win a gift basket, there are no real losers, the score changes at the host's discretion. You may learn about some new perks, so, I think it's worth while to go and see it for yourself!

We like to go and get the free swag. I nice way to kill an hour or so. We like it. Last time we won a dinner at Portabello's!

Atlantic Hall is at BWV, right?

Atlantic Dance Hall is across a path from Jellyrolls, along the boardwalk. It's between BWV and YC.

This month they are also having parties at BLT. In December they will have a party every Friday between 3:00 and 5:00 outside the International Gateway Entrance to Epcot.

Where do you get more info on the BLT parties? We're going for just a couple days July 21-23, and if we end up at MK on Wed, a BLT party would be handy.

We will be at WDW July 27-31. Would love more info on the BLT welcome home event. Will they still have one at BWV, too?
