Welcome Home-Our 1st DVC Trip Link to TR pg 53

Congrats! That's awesome! You are going to have such a great time creating fun Mommy-daughter memories.

YAY for a Sep. trip and MNSSHP!!!!!:cool1::banana:

How exciting! I am really looking forward to our POP night...which may turn out to be more than one night....

Good writing will do that to you, no doubt. :goodvibes

Yippee!!! You'll have so much fun just hanging out with your girls! :goodvibes

It is very excitng but I will admit I am a little nervous. C is prone to meltdowns and Av needs her sleep...I am going to play it very low key and see how it goes. There is a bar at POP right :rolleyes1

:cool1:Woo Hoo!! How exciting!! I can't wait until my girls are a little older, I'd love to do a girls only trip with them! Woo Hoo!!:cool1:

Thanks Wendy. I started traveling with A by myself when she was 9mo, both girls when C was 4mo. They are great travellers for the most part. It is always nice to have Daddy along but sometimes not always possible. I am excited

Yay for a girls' trip!
You guys are going to have a BLAST! :dance3:
And Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party just makes it even better!

Oh, how we all know the missing Disney World feeling! ::yes::
I listen to the CD's of Festival of the Lion King and the Nemo Musical on the way home from Alabama Saturday, and I was ready to go straight to the airport and wait for our flight!

Thanks so much, I am very excited for the party!! You will have to take some POP pics for me in July. I need to get more Disney CD's!!

This is sooooo exciting!!! I must ask, do he girls know yet, or is it going to be a surprise? How exciting for a girls only trip, can't wait to read more about this trip and details about the upcoming trip!!!

Thanks, they know I am not a good surprise keeper and they need prep time. I also need to keep reminding them "the rules" of DW :) We also love doing a contdown.

Congrats on booking another trip! I priced out a short trip for later in the year too and the room rates were extremely cheap. I soooo wish we had remembered to upgrade our passes to annual passes like we talked about.

Thats one of the main reasons we are going-the AP"s. And the cheap room rates. The air could have been cheaper but oh well.

Catching up and signing up. Glad to hear you guys had a great time. Can't wait to read more.

I went ahead and bought plane tickets. About $20 mor eper way then in May but we are buying one less ticket-like that math :) We arrive in Orlando a little later but only one stop and no plane change.

Tried to book a few dining reservations. We are not getting the dining plan this time around. Ever tried to make ADR's during free dining at almost 3 months out. :scared1::scared1: No aval at Tusker House for bkfst all days :sad2: No Chef Mickey's either. Oh well. Here is the tentative plan.

Sat Sep 18th Arrive around 530p ME to POP explore dinner at food court swim bed a little early to try and combat the time change

Sun Sep 19th MK in the am back to POP, rest/swim Ep ADR 410p-yep only time aval at Garden Grill. FP TT and Soarin, maybe Illuminations

Mon Sep 20th HS in am, back to POP rest/swim either Ep for some cs or stay at POP for dinner

Tues Sep 21st AK in am, ADR at Yak%Yeti at 11am. back to POP for mandatory naps on to MK for dinner and MNSSHP!

Wed Sep 22nd sleep in kids choice for park MK in late aft for last night at MK tradition. Maybe CCH for dinner

Thurs Sep 23rd DTD in am, back to POP for un ME

Going to try and get a Chef Mickey's for Wed dinner-I know it gets mixed reviews but we have never gone. And trying for a Tusker House bkfst on Tues am.

This is exciting!!

Wierd to plan a 5 night trip. No spreadsheet this time.J ust best park days.

Those plans look great Mary! I would have thought it would have been easy to book in September but apparently not:confused3 I hope you get the ones you want....when I wanted the Cali Grill, I finally got it one morning when I went online right after 6am CST....maybe try that??

Yay for getting your airplane tickets. I'm on a very old laptop (my computer crashed again). I will look over your schedule as compared to ours and see if we can tentatively set a date. If nothing else, we can swing by and see you at Pop when we go back for our afternoon rest at the CSR. :)

:banana:Yay for September trip!

Mike and I didn't get enough of Disney when we were there so we're going back in October. No kids!!!

It was so great to meet everyone! Boy, does Lauren have you fooled. :rotfl: The only reason she was sitting in her stroller is that she was exhausted from the heat and all the running around we did that day (plus we fed her some pretzles so that kind of slowed her down).

Looks like a solid plan! Must be a free dining thing on the ressies. Got everything i wanted when we go three days after free dining. :lmao: Good luck getting TH and Chef Mickeys! Just keep trying, I'm sure it will show up for ya!

your plans look great.

I would factor in hurricane/tropical storm contingency plans too since Sept is peak hurricane season. If there's a tropical storm/hurricane blowing through, they will not allow you to leave the room unless your resort has interior hallways which Pop does not.

Just joining in , thought since you were following along over on my pre-trip report and we will be there in September at almost the same exact time , it would be nice to see what kind of plans you have in place !

Congrats on DVC & AP's ! I hope to one day at least get annual passes & be able to go more than once a year .

Great trip report so far , the close-ups at the Jammin Jungle Parade are great :thumbsup2 I also have SLR camera , Canon Rebel XT but no extra lens as of yet . What kind of SLR do you have ?

Looks like you had a lot of great dismeets on your May trip ! Hoping to run into you and the girls and have a small dismeet of our own in September :thumbsup2

Can't wait to hear more about your May trip & the September plans popcorn::popcorn::

Good Luck w/ your dinning plans , keeping my fingers crossed you can get something !

Great pics of the AK Parade! It's always better on Kali when you don't get wet!

Congrats on your September trip!:banana::banana:
