Welcome Home-Our 1st DVC Trip Link to TR pg 53

Lets get this :laundy: oops wrong one party:started!!!

Trip Dates Sat May 22nd to Sun May 30th
Resort Saratoga Springs-DVC studio

Quick cast review

DH (Jeff) works in finance for a upscale pacific rim restraunt chain. He also brews his own beer. Is not a huge Disney fan but was the one to actually suggest DVC. Had a good time this year and is willing to go back at Christmas and in the spring. Is a very involved Daddy and  his girls. We will have our 10 year wedding anniversary this year.

Me (Mary) is a part time preschool teacher and SAHM. I am hitting the big 40 soon and am really trying to get myself into shape and be a more patient parent. I :love:Disney-am estatic to own DVC and have several trips to plan.

Avery is six and going into 1st grade in the fall. She is very good in school and also likes art and drawing. Favorite Disney characters Ariel, Tink and Hannah Montana-she likes her cause she thinks its cool

Cayley is 3.5 and will be in Pre K in the fall. She is full of personality and is often "that kid"-the one who tried to swim in the fountain in France this trip :rolleyes1 She was thrilled to be able to go on some "big" rides this time and BTMR was her fav. Still is a little unsure of some of the characters-especially Tigger.

This was our 2nd trip as a family and was full of great memories.

Great start. Looking forward to hearing about Cayley and the fountain in France LOL.

Day 1

We left our house at O'Dark Thirty (6am) on Sat May 22nd.

outside our house before we left

We had a 715a flight to Orlando via Houston. First time flying SW. Paid for the early bird check in and then missed the announcement in the bathroom. People had to move around for us-actually Jeff and the girls to sit together. I sat behind them :):rolleyes1 Flights were uneventful, girls have flown many times. Had just enough time to grab lunch during our layover.

Made our way to the ME line and had to wait about 15 min for our bus. Watched the cute video on the ride over and took some pics.

Stopped at Old Key West first and then on to Saratoga Springs.

Up next, would we get our requests? How does a DVC studio compare to a reg room??

I do hope there are pictures of Cayley and the French fountain! :lmao:

Uneventful flights are the best way to start a vacation! :thumbsup2

The girls look super excited to be headed to WDW! :goodvibes

Um no, I did not want any photographic evidence for the Disney police. They were excited to go!

Houston makes much more sense than CHICAGO. Just sayin'...:rolleyes1

The girls look cute and thankfully there are no stories to tell about the plane ride. Can't wait to hear about France though! :rotfl2:

Cute shirts. So glad you started your report and that the flight was uneventful

What lovely pictures of the girls! I have always had a fear that I was going to miss being called for something because I am in the bathroom. Sorry to hear it happened to you though. I am excited to hear your comparison of the DVC room to the regular room.

I know-Chicago was ridiculous! My SIL made the shirts.

Thanks :) I did fail to mention that my Hubby was not in the bathroom but buying a magazine when the announcement happened. Guess where he was supposed to be? Oh well. I can compare but have no pics. :scared1:

On a Disney bus reporting in!

Oh my goodness Ms Anita Wig'd you are so funny! Welcome. I have loved all ur FB updates!

I think she is just enjoying tormenting us...

Starting tomorrow, she'll be reporting in from a Disney ship! :boat:

Just kidding, of course, Miss Anita Wigd. You know I am loving every picture and especially the video clips! :dance3:

Can't wait to hear more. I have "that kid" also. My 4 year old ds was cavorting in every fountain he could find on our Oct09 trip to WDW. :)

Hi Mary!! Coach's wife Alisa here. It was great meeting ya'll on the bus. I cant wait to hear about the Cape May breakfast, and your DH's adventure at SWW. My crew LOVED SWW!!! But it sure was HOT that day! I'm in for the TR. YEAH!!
