OH GOSH YOU'RE KILLING ME!!!
I was able to book our Vero part with my friend's CM Discount today and saved us $519 so I talked with my mom about maybe canceling our WL (last night in FL) and switching to Yc/Bc but of course they are booked since it's June but they do have Poly and it's $94 extra to stay Garden CL than just Garden so I'm thinking about booking that and surprising them since it will be their 30th wedding anniver. in June (They Disneymoon'ed at CR in 1981 but I just don't know if Poly is as "grand" as it was at YC when we stayed there. I'll probably cave and do it tomorrow but I don't know how I'll keep it a secret till June haha..what do you think???
I'm glad you changed resorts. I love WL as well..but notice I'm ready to ditch it haha. We had a courtyard view room in Dec but walking in the hallway we could see the castle from a window which was cool!!!!

Did you decide what to do about the resort situation yet? I still say go with the Poly!
I love WL, but if I had a chance to stay at the Poly, I'd do it in a second! That is my dream resort, Brandon's too, he loved it when we visited in November! It's just so expensive!
Why can't I win the lottery?
I think it's really difficult to know exactly where you'll want to stay so many months out. Personally, we started out as being booked Pop with the
DDP, then switched CSR without the DDP, then switched back to Pop without the DDP, and finally tonight we canceled our room only reservation at Pop. You'll have to read my PTR once I get it all updated to see where we're staying.
P.S. You talking about the MK area is making me so nostalgic. We loved being able to hop on the monorail from the GF every day. It cut down on our travel time immensely. However, this trip I'm almost positive we'll have a car so I definitely see us driving to the parks as opposed to waiting for a bus. That is, for the resorts we can't walk to. Hint Hint.
It is hard to know where you want to stay months in advance! I have a problem with switching resorts, I do it at least once a trip! The only time I never have was when I booked the Beach Club for my Disneymoon, and that was because I booked it in February and my Disneymoon was in March! There was no time to even think about it!
I just read your PTR update, I love your plans!
Just the WL in general makes me nostalgic! As much as I loved being at the Beach Club, when we were there and we would pass by the WL on the monorail, I would feel a little sad! There's just something about that resort and the MK area! You feel like you're in the middle of everything, you really get the Disney magic over there!

I have never been to WL (though will finally get a peek at it this trip!), but it is so pretty! And I do agree about the location- that is the one thing that I am not excited about for our stay at the AKL.

Jen, I knew you were going to end up doing it...I jsut knew it. Too bad we are a week apart on the beginning of our trip or we could have invited Brandon over to see our room and see what he is missing out on.

Brandon really wanted to stay at AKL, it was me who kind of forced the issue of changing...I'm sure he said yes so I would stop whining about it! But he does love WL, I know we're going to be so happy there!
I want to stay at AKL someday. I think I just need to stay there during a non-event time. Between going to 2
MNSSHP's and Food and Wine, we're going to be spending 90% of our time at MK and Epcot! So I really wanted to be near that area! If we do end up going in May next year for our anniversary, maybe we will consider AKL again!
Nooooo, you changed again?! As soon as I saw you updated I was afraid of that. LOL. In all honesty the distance at AKL is not that bad (as I've said before) but if it was really bothering you then atleast you picked another great resort. I LOVED the Wilderness Lodge when we stayed there.

I'm sure the distance from AKL isn't bad, but since we are going to be at MK and Epcot soooo much, it just didn't make sense to stay there right now! I want to stay there someday, though, I know I'd love it! I can't wait to be at WL though...I woke up today and actually thought "OMG, I'm staying at the Wilderness Lodge again!"
I love the Epcot resort area too, but how could I insist we stay there when Brandon is telling me WL is his favorite? I can't wait!

So happy to have you here! WL is so amazing, I'm definitely not changing after this, just thinking about being in that MK area makes me SO happy, I'll be right in the middle of the Disney magic!
