I will be going "home" end of next week! Woo hooo:cool1:
and today I received an email entitled "helpful information for your upcoming vacation"/"remindears"

There was a paragraph in it stating that I'm invited:

<You're invited to a reception at the Top of the World Lounge
Don't miss an enchanting event at the extraordinary Top of the World Lounge atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

At this event, you'll hear what's new at Disney Vacation Club, get a special sneak peek at some of this resort's incredible features and enjoy a Member reception at the spellbinding Top of the World Lounge.

Space is extremely limited.

RSVP at a Disney Vacation Club information desk at your resort upon arrival.

for important information. >

However when I click on the above "click here" link, it just takes me back to my email, therefore I cannot access the "important information"
Has anyone received this before and is there anyone that can tell me the specifics of this invite?

I should say there is a link in the email that just says "click here" for important information. I, of course took it out as it just takes me back to my email. If anyone has received this email for an upcoming trip where the link works, can you please tell me what the specific info is?
thanks again...

I received several of these e-mails before my trip last month. I had the same problem, there was no way to access the "important information".

just call your guide and tell them you'd like to tour BLT and let them try to sell you more pts...

(it's just a sales tour offer.)

It is basically a sales tour, but not a bad way to spend an hour or so.

I did this yesterday.
They had finger sandwiches, cheesecake pops, ice tea. Everyone got a free pin, 3 instant fast passes, and a few other things. Trivia was played. Took place in Top of the World Lounge, and afterwards toured both a 2br unit and a Grand Villa. Grand Villas aren't always available on the tour, so I was lucky as that was the only way I'd ever get to see one.

Already used one of the fast passes for Toy Story Mania. At the time, fast passes were all gone for the day, and standby wait time was 80 minutes. Spending an hour at TOTWL was much better than spending an hour in a line.

At ours they also gave away some DVC swag (portfolios, lanyards, etc.) and a $100 gift card.
