hey everybody! for those of you that had welcome bags for your guests.. did you make them yourself ? and what items did you include? i'm curious to see some different ideas & would love to see pics if you have any. thank you so much :)

we bought canvas bags from amazon.com & used iron ons to personalize them with "welcome to florida......!" on one side & on the other a shell & water design, our names & wedding date see picture here

in each bag we included a disney card with a handwritten hi & welcome, itiniary guide, water bottles, snack bags like pretzels & cheetos, muffins, a nice palm tree journal, disney postcard for them to use, wedding candle & toys for the kids like mickey playing cards, candy, etc. our guests raved about how nice & convinient they were, i think it was a very worthwhile project.

I made my own, I got the small bags from Oriental Trading, and my delivery bags I got from Walmart's craft section then I traced Mickey & Minnie onto them. I got the stuffings from Oriental, Walmart, www.minimus.biz, and Target's dollar and travel sized sections. Here's what was inside everyone's bags:

hand sanatizer
paper fans (that I stamped with Mickey heads)
travel games
water bottle
mug
pen
advil
poncho
sunscreen
sewing kit
emory board
lotion
aloe
hershey kisses in tulle
candy fish (tropical theme)
bandaids
foot relief lotion/soak
lip balm
park maps
disposable camera

The only other addition was in my kid's bag there was an autograph book, pen, extra games, and disney dollars

Then I also made couple's bags 1 couple was on a very long overdue honeymoon, and the other couple had just had a baby about 6 weeks before. These I put into v-day paper giftbags.

bubble bath
bath salts
bath pillow
candles
matches
cork screw
wine
bottle stopper
massager
(I would have also included wine glasses but that was our wedding favor so they recieved them a few days later.)

For gift tags I made Mickey tags with the Home Depot Mickey's on neon cardstock that I then laminated. Each tag had the name of the person who booked the room, the hotel they were staying in, thier travel dates, and their confirmation number. We then just dropped the bags at the front desk, and asked that they be delivered when they checked in. It worked out great for us, but we only had 2 to deliver so less could go wrong. I put all the bags for each room into one larger bag, and each small bag had the same info on it just incase it got seperated.
