Yep, same here! Kind of strange since there is an event scheduled for right now. I wish they'd post these random closings on the main page so we'd have clue what is going on.

I got that message as well. So I closed the window and tried again...now all I get is the Black Screen of Death. No movement at all.

I was getting "page cannot be displayed" a while ago. Now I'm getting the closed message like the rest of you.

You know...I do have a complaint this time. Monday morning I hear about all the new great stuff in the stores for this week. I leave for work at 6:00 a.m. I tend to get home sometime after 7:00 p.m. by the time I get things settled and can log on it's nearing 8:30 p.m. For the past two nights, I have been unable to get on because VMK is updating or closed. I have been unable to get credits, to buy anything new,...it's nice to know it's there but I have no way of obtaining it because I work long hours. So VMK,...you have 12 hours of "closed" time to get your update, change whatever you want. So here is my request:

Either close for a day so the new stuff isn't available, or do your updating/changing after closing.

Glad it's not just me!

I was playing and then got the white death message box "vmk has crashed". SO i try to log back,(it takes me a bit to log in on my slower than molasses computer, but I do get in!)then I see the message VMK is closed. It's open from 10- 1am EST I thought for a second.. "did I fall asleep at the computer? ( i did close my eyes listening to some music as I waited to get back into vmk to finish off my holidays rooms) Was it really 1am!?! So,I looked at my clock...no it's not even 11pm.. so I wiped my eyes...... looked back at the screen...yup that is the message vmk is saying. Try to log in again.... same message... this time I run to the cable box (hey maybe my computer is revolting against me and changed the time ) Nope cable box time is same time as computer. Now I get VMK is having technical difficulties.

And Peasy I hear ya! You have a valid point. They should update after hours when no one is on.
