Weird Trade That Happened!

My younger sister, who is in her late 20's, just started playing VMK 2 months ago. About 3 weeks ago, she had a nice person give her a pair of black Mickey Ears because she is new and had nothing.

This past week, she was in the Pirates game lobby and somebody came over and wanted her Ears. My sister was hesitant because they were a gift to her and I had warned her about trading scams.

Here is what happened in short version:

Player offers feather mask.
Sister: no thank you
Player: Oh, sorry, that is not fair trade.
Player offers cowboy shirt.
Sister: I know shirt is rare, but i am not interested in that. Sorry.
Player: I have more. I really want ears.
Player offers feather mask, cowboy shirt, Jafar hat, Mad Hatter Hat.
Sister: Which on?
Player: All.
Sister: All that for these ears?
Player: Yes, I want those ears.
Sister: Are you sure??
Player: Yes! Yes!
Sister: Why so much?
Player: I said I want ears. Plz.
Sister: Ok. If you are sure.
Player: Yes!

They Trade. Done deal.
Player: tyvm
Sister: yw
Player puts black ears on.

My sister starts to walk away.

Player: Wait!
Sister: Yes
Player: Can I have stuff back?
Sister: You mean trade back?
Player: No, can I have my stuff back?
Sister: Can I have my ears back.
Player: No.
Sister: Only if I can have my ears back.
Player: No!
Sister: Then no.
Player: I report you ###!

My sister took screen-shots of all of this and showed me. I think it was weird. I am not sure if the person did it and realized they traded too much rare for it or if they were trying to scam the ears and did not do it right? Either way, the whole thing was just really weird.

This person regretted their trade after the fact and used "report" as a threat. VMK will tell this person that it was an agreed upon trade, end of story.

Tell your sister she got a lucky trade.

It does seem like an ill attempted scam. A person offers some items for an item they want. Trade is made. Person wants his items back but refuses to give back the item he traded for...and then threatens to report if the other does not give back the items.

This wasn't just someone regretting their trade, otherwise, why refuse to give back the ears and then threaten to report over it? While VMK will not do anything about it since the trade was made (and therefore agreed upon), it does smell of an amateurish scam.

Lol that was stupid I would have left like mking624 said sounded like a poor attempt to scam lol thats happened to me before it's annoying but nothing happened lol what was the players title and what is your sisters screen name?And tell your sister next time that happens to report them for scamming k?
