weird sandwich combos?

Peanut butter and bacon for me.

Now I'm thinking of running out to buy some nutella - that PB and Nutella combo sounds yummy!

This grosses my DH out. I like white bread with yellow mustard and regular potato chips. I don;t know when I started this, but I love it!

Oh i like this too!!!
I put potato chips on a lot of my sandwiches

I always liked and still have once in a while PB and Lettuce sandwichs.
My grandmother use to make and I loved them but havn't had in a long time, Cream cheese and grape jelly on rasin bread.

I never knew peanut butter and honey sandwiches were considered weird! I eat those all the time!

I don't think its strange but I like tuna egg salad - just tuna salad with a chopped/crushed egg in it YUMMY:D

I have a friend who likes a toasted plain bagel w/peanut butter and ranch doritos on top YUCK!

I remember a childhood friend putting catsup on her white bread w/ bologna sandwiches. I did it for a while since I was at that age where you and your best friend had to do everything the same. It wasn't gross, but it was weird!

And DD says that a girl in her lunch group (6th grade) is on Atkins (whole nother thread about why 12 year old girls feel the need to be on that type of diet), and she has peanut butter and jelly on ham for lunch. Now that one would GROSS me out!

Well....I've only read page one for now, so maybe someone else already posted this, but, for the sake of argument..... PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY would not be allowed on Atkins. Unless perhaps it was some sort of soynut butter with no sugar and sugarless jam..... Perhaps this girl is telling her friends this as an attention-getting ploy...................P

Creeps my DH out.. but my Mom always made these and I still love them... so fattening!

OH MY GOSH!!! My mother used to tell me stories about eating that for lunch when she was a kid!! I have NEVER really believed her fully until now!!.............P

I just Love PB & Mayo sandwiches! But is has to be Miracle Whip - not just any old mayo!

Course I also like Mayo sandwiches (just Mayo & bread)! My kids think I'm weird. :smooth:

my mom takes ice cream and white bread - voila - ice cream sandwich!

LOL

When I was little bitty, my Nana used to make me bread, butter, and sugar sandwhiches - take a piece of white bread, butter it, sprinkle sugar on top, and top with another piece of white bread. Now that's a healthy treat! :p

Oh yes, Peanutbutter and Lays potato chips! :) Don't knock it until you've tried it! ;)

I never thought mine was weird until the first Thankgiving I spent with my ILs. When I make a turkey sandwich out of leftovers, I spread leftover cranberry sauce on the bread (lightly toasted) like mayo. Then I put on my turkey and lightly salt the turkey. Yum!! Now my ILs are converted too!

And yes, this particular sandwich is what inspired my leftovers tag.

Not as weird as some but as a kid I loved ham sandwiches with the pimento/cream cheese spread in a jar. Also, will only eat bologna if it is fried, with mustard on wheat toast.

Mom used to take onion biscuit sandwiches to school -- yuck!

Not so weird,...........PB and honey on white toast, and I used to make 3 mayo on white toast sandwiches for snack, when I was in high school. My weird thing was not the ingredients, but that the sandwich had to be "even", with no big globs of meat, or cheese in one spot. Even when getting sandwiches out, I need to remake them

Same as GEM! When I was a kid my grandmother used to make butter and sugar sandwiches for me. I thought it was an Iowa thing. My mother used to hate that.

I also used to eat ketchup and lettuce sandwiches which the thought of makes me want to hork today.

Ham sandwiches MUST have Doritos on them.

I also grew up on PB & Mayo but it has to be Kraft with creamy PB. I also love Mayo with banana's.

This isn't really weird, but I ran out of marshmallow fluff for my son's peanut butter and fluff sandwhich, so I substituted mini marshmallows.

He requests this all the time now.
