I just called Mythos to make a reservation for 10/21 at noon. At first I called the main toll free number and they gave me the number to call Mythos directly because they couldn't get into the reservations system for some reason. When I called Mythos, a gentleman answered and took my reservation and then said the strangest thing... He told me to call back and verify 2 weeks before. Which would have been fine except he followed it up by saying 'due to the disaster in New York business has been very slow and you want to call about 2 weeks before hand to make sure we're still here.'????????????
How wierd is that? Why wouldn't they be there? I thought it was a very popular restaurant... what? would they close it? Or close the park? This wasn't even a *dinner* reservation, it was for 12 noon on a Sunday... the response really bothered me... a little scary but I'm a bit sensitive right now as I'm sure most people are.... anyone have any idea or thought as to why he would say something like that?? Just thought I'd run it by you all....
