Hello! I have a really weird request to prove my DH wrong!! Does anyone have a copy of the parking pass you put in your front windshield? My DH is insisting that the pass is blue and I keep telling him that it's white! :lmao: Im pretty sure he's confused the parking pass with the KTTW cards but he is NOT listening to reason! I tried google but no luck. Please help me prove him wrong!! :cool1:

I don't have one handy but it's definitely white - plain old printer paper. My daughter just stacks hers one on top of the other in her dashboard and she has quite collection

Mine was white paper, but I think the text was printed with black and blue ink...

We were given a light blue one in April at AKL. Usually they are white.

:earsboy: Bill

White.

For the poster who had a light blue one, maybe they had different paper in the printer for some odd reason.

White for ages.
Maybe I'm nuts, but I thought at one time they were yellow.:confused3

. . . My DH is insisting that the pass is blue and I keep telling him that it's white! . . .

1) I am sorry, but you lose.
2) Computer-generated passes are printed on plain white paper with blue ink.
3) But, many resorts have other hand-generated parking passes.
4) These also have the resort logo on the paper.
5) The guest's name an dates are hand-written in marker.

6) Examples:
. . . WL and FW - Medium brown
. . . GF - Light Blue
. . . Poly - Dark Green
. . . CR - Pale Yellow
. . . AKL - Medium Blue
. . . BW, YC, BC - Light Green

The last time I had a car on property (2009), it was white. So I say you win. :)

I don't believe that there is such a thing as a parking pass anymore for the parks. What you get is a receipt, on regular receipt paper that you show to the attendant at the booth or your AP or your KTTK card. If you are talking about parking passes for the resorts themselves, well that is possible, but I've only stayed on-site once and really do not remember.

They used to have special parking passes that were put on the dashboard visible through the windshield with a huge date printed on it, but it has been quite a few years since they had those. When you figure how much it must have cost Disney for those thousands and thousands of windshield passes it isn't hard to understand why they got rid of them. They made good souvenirs though.

We were just at WDW in Feb and we were given a parking pass. This allowed the security guard to wave us into Kidani and each of the parks' parking lots.

The question was about a Resort parking pass. We sure got one at the end of June. I think it was a bit smaller - like they print two to a standard Letter page and tear it in half...but it was still a parking pass for the dashboard. It tells the park CMs that you're a resort guest and don't have to pay. No showing of a KTTW card.

And they've been white, like they always have been for us, but I have no reason to believe they may have used other paper at times.

I drive every year and have stayed at a variety of resorts (BWI, BWV, YC, Poly, BC, WL, POR, & POFQ). The parking passes I received have always been on white paper. It comes out of their printer and have never been handwritten.

I've always been given ones on plain old copy paper. Now that I think about it, kinda surprised they don't change the colors weekly to make it easier to spot old / fake passes.

I've always been offered one on plain white paper as well. I've never needed it because I fly in and take the DME, but they usually have one printed off already in the packet.

1) Once again, passes are printed on copy paper.
2) They come from the room folio software and include guest names/dates.
3) However, several resorts also have hand-generated passes.
4) These are in different colors with hand-written names/dates.
5) The colors do not change with dates.
6) Disney really doesn't care that much about out-dated parking passes.
