I'm just wondering if the little travel tubs of Moon Sand are considered a "liquid" or if it can go in the carry on. Anyone with experience with this yet? They are bigger than 3 oz., but I can't decide if they are solid or liquid, lol!

I just have to ask- What is Moon Sand? :confused3

My granddaughter has moon sand and I think it makes a mess! Yes it does stick together (somewhat), but quite a bit of it gets on the floor. Wouldn't that be a little messy for the plane? I actually am thinking of throwing it out. ::yes::

DD got Moon Sand for her birthday and most of it ended up on the floor...It's not easy to pick up either.

Oh! Good to know. I bought it a few weeks ago and was saving it for the trip. I didn't know it was so messy. Never mind. I won't be bringing something like that on the plane. They can get them in their stockings once back home. I'm glad I asked about it!

We took a couple of small tubs of play-doh with us two weeks ago, and one TSA person made us throw it out and the other (on the flight going) let us keep it, so I don't think they even know what the rules are :)!!!

I bought my son moon sand a few weeks ago thinking it wouldn't be messy, but from now he is sticking with play-doh!!!!
