Weird package question experts needed

I have a question. can I book a package for 3 out of the 4 of us for tickets and room and get 1 AP for my 13 year old to take advantage of a AP holders discount. Also does the discount apply regardless of the dates you travel? And lastly anyone know how much a AP will cost.

I believe that, in order to use an AP discount, the AP has to belong to someone 18 or older.

If you are looking to apply an AP holders room discount to a package I don't think you can do that. Part of the package is the agreement you make to pay a certain room rate. Disney may come out with discount package deals that you could possibly take advantage of, but room only discounts are not usually applied to packages.

EDIT TO SAY: By the way, I'm pretty sure you can use the the 13 yr old's AP to get discounts on other things. My understanding is that no age distinction is made.
