The Fort Wilderness campfire is a bit different, but still lots of fun. It is MUCH bigger, with two fire pits and lots of bench and bleacher seating. They offer 'Smores kits for sale so you can roast marshmallows, etc. You don't all gather around the fire for the entertainment but, instead, take seats on the benches/bleachers. There is a small stage where the entertainer performs/leads the event. Chip and Dale make their way through the crowd. You don't get much time with them, but it's still fun. After the campfire they show a movie on their outdoor screen.
Even though the two events are very different, we love both of them. The Fort Wilderness campfire was a staple of our
Disney vacations for a long time. Our kids are older teens now so we don't go every trip, but we still go from time to time. I'd highly recommend checking it out. You could have dinner at the Trail's End (also highly recommended) and then head over to the Meadow for the campfire.
Have a great time!
