Hi everyone. I am getting ready to take my elderly mother to DLP for 9 days. We will be using DLP as our travel base. She uses a heating pad for her bad back...I am assuming that I will have to buy some voltage adapters, etc for her heating pad, our IPods and other devices. Has anyone bought any of these in the US? Can you recommend a specific device? Thanks. !

Hi there

Hope you have a great trip, where are you staying?

You probably know all this stuff already but I though this website gave a really clear summary of power issues in bringing US electricals into France. http://www.adaptelec.com/index.php?main_page=document_general_info&products_id=150

If your electricals can switch to 240V already I would probably go for something like this http://www.amazon.com/VCT-Universal...4K/ref=sr_1_36?ie=UTF8&qid=1315558961&sr=8-36 as the rooms don't have a huge amount of sockets in the first place

If not you need to be prepared to get quite a few power converters which crazily only seem to give you one power socket at a time http://www.amazon.com/VCT-VTM-150GS...ref=sr_1_8?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1315559351&sr=1-8

Have fun planning!
