Weird Email from DME

I got this email today in response to my booking for DME (which I did last week). I've included the whole email, which includes the info I submitted via the form. As far as I can see, I've already provided all the info (where you see *******, I've manually blanked out details to post them here- however, I did give DME the full details).

I'm confused. Why do they need the info twice? Has anyone else had this? Any thoughts? We've already paid in full!

Thanks!

Greetings!

Looks identical to the first email I got from them last year. I then did re submit all the details and my next email seemed to have us booked twice :rotfl:

Don't sweat it. I phoned them and they in fact did not have any of our details when i called a few days before we flew.

They won't turn you away. As long as you have a Disney resort reservation they can look you up on the system and will get you on the next bus (chances are you're already on there).

In other words whatever you decide to do, you'll get to the resort and then back to the airport again :)

I thought this was odd too, replied as requested however & also added a note asking if I could have luggage tags posted to my brother's address in USA. Didn't get any response even after a reminder, but booklet etc all posted to my brother as requested:). Hadn't even warned him!

I think it's just a sort of confirmation- perhaps because so many of us plan so far in advance;)

I think this is it

Just remember that if you book it yourself online, even if you booked the rest of your package or accommodation with Disney, you don't get the DME voucher with your documents. That caught me off guard last year as I'd always added ME when booking but simply forgot to check the box when doing it and thought it was easier to just do it myself online rather than phone.

I reported to the ME desk and didn't have a voucher, also didn't have to pull out the confirmation email; just gave my name and resort and they had us on the next bus :thumbsup2

Same here I was worried when we got our docs through and there were no vouchers. Called and spoke to a CM who explained that they don't if it's done online.
