Weird DVC bug giving me extra nights at VGF

So I booked Boardwalk for 5 nights earlier this week, but this morning amended that reservation to only 2 nights at VGF.

It booked VGF correctly, and appears to have only taken 36 points. The Boardwalk reservation as you would expect, disappeared from my dashboard.

Only thing is when you put the reservation number into MDE, it is showing VGF, but the original Boardwalk 5 nights! Even though there was only 2 days of availability for VGF and even though my DVC dashboard shows only those two days which were left as booked.

Has anyone else ever encountered this weird bug?

I encountered a similar bug with modifying reservations. It’s a MDE bug, not a DVC bug. If you call DVC they’ll see the correct reservation and number of nights I think. There’s a way to fix the bug with MDE but for the life of me I can’t remember how to do it. It was in the thread where MDE wasn’t showing new reservations that had been modified. Might have had somethign to do with checking in online but I think there was more to it then that. Hopefully someone else will chime in, sorry I’m not being more helpful with he specifics.
 
Yeah, we see this all the time. I have called Member Services to have this corrected but, if I remember correctly, it once corrected itself overnight.

I just looked at some of the old threads and I think you fix it by just re-doing the online check in. That’ll force MDE to update it correctly.

What is the check-in window? I thought it was increased to 180 days but I am not sure.
 
Thanks for all your help guys, I got onto DVC on the chat. Apparently there is an issue with MDE not updating for amended reservations (yep) which IT partners are looking into, they resolved it immediately though and a refresh had us all sorted out.

Same type of problem but too few days showing in mde. Had two separate reservations for December one for 12/22 from a waitlist and one for 12/23 through 1/1. An email to MS got them combined into one and showing correct timespan on DVC dashboard. But mde shows only 12/23 to 1/1 now.

sent email to MS heard back that it needs researched referred to it as an MDE glitch and says I’ll have to call in. Will try tomorrow morning. It held up my dining reservations s day but we should be ok.

Try doing online check-in....that should correct it.
 
That worked! I was afraid to since DVC has noted that we will arrive morning of 23 on auto train but still want room night of 22 so room will be ready when we get there but I went ahead and now all is well. Thank you so much!
