Weird DAS thing today

I'm already home. I'm gonna see if it happens again and if it does, I will inquire with the plaids in park to see if it's a new feature or a bug.

ETA:

What I won't do is do Disney ITs job for them. They pay people to look for bugs in the software. That's not the guests responsibility. I'm not going to report something that could be a benefit to DAS holders...
I don't see it as doing IT's job for them, but rather letting Disney know that the job isn't getting done.

Just wanted to add that I couldn't book DCA rides in the app until I scanned in after parkhopping time and once in DCA, I couldn't book DL rides in the app. So it still works the same as before the app update.

Thanks for that update. Hopefully they bring that ability over soon. I've talked about it with the plaids and they have told me they think the reasoning is because not everyone has park hoppers and they don't want guests making return times for rides in the other park thinking they can go over there if they can't. I guess this makes sense, but it is just a matter of programming the app to not allow it if the attached ticket media isn't a park hopper.

But what isn't getting done? The old problem was "my button isn't showing up." That problem seems to have been solved.

I agree. If my Dream Key can mobile order for both parks then I would assume that same programming can be applied to DAS. Not sure if 1-park tickets only see mobile orders for one park or both, but they should allow the same permissions to match it. Here's hoping we see it before my next trip in June.

So funny enough I was reinstalling all my apps last night since I just upgraded tyo my new phone. Logged into the DL app and noticed my DAS tab was there too...and I was in the east bay nowhere near DL.
I clicked it to see too and yeah just said I hadn't scanned in yet. But if that means the issue of it not showing up for 10 to 15 minutes after I scan in i'll take it, lol.

Well, mobile order isn't even connected to anything else. I can place a mobile order from home and go all the way through to complete the purchase. We often place our mobile orders for the day before we leave home.

I’m seeing it in my app as well and I’m not in the park (I’m connected to a friend that has one and she’s not either).

Oops, I didn't realize that. i've only placed mobile orders in or near the parks.
