Weird curves question

I know this is a weird question, but I need help and I don't know who to ask.

If you were to open a Curves in New Jersey, wich of this locations will you choose?

ATLANTIC COUNTY
Atlantic City

CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Fairfield
Commercial
Maurice River Deerfield

PASSAIC
Paterson- South East
Twp of Wanaque

As a librarian, I'd research the number of Curves in each area. I know they're getting pretty saturated. I don't know each of those areas, but I would look for it.

I'd also look at the demographics of the area. Curves does best in an areas with lots of stay at home women unless the hours are extended.

If you'd like to talk to someone who already owns a Curves, the people in Bayonne are fantastic. You could give them a call for advice.

HI.....I have talked with my Curves owner about this topic a few months back......I was just curious and I recall her telling me that being that this is a francise and corp. there are boundries. For instance, she owns the one in my town and no one else is allowed to own or operate another in a certian vincinity. But, she can open as many as she wants (in her vincinity). This is her area. I would definitly look into what bailey mouse said and know that there are certain restrictions to locations.
I happen to live in New york and once lived in Jersey ( bergen county ). I visit AC often and I think I would stay away from that area.
Although, AC has been renovated in many areas it is still considered a tourist area and not many people exercise during there vacations and/or weekends. And although people reisde in that area for the most part alot of south jersey is a summer place.

Also, in my opinion, when one takes a week or more vacation, they may want to continue to do there exercise routine, however, alot of visitors to AC go for about 2/3 days. From my own AC experiences, and I have gone for 2/3 days, I mostly stay IN the casinos and completely forget about my daily routine such as exercising. The only I excercise in AC is my left arm! ( on the slot machines that is)

I recall Passaic being a busy surburban area, Check out that county as long as you can open there. Good luck..........

Thanks Wiskband, AC is definetly out of the question. I've been talking with a business consultant but he seems to thik that the Curves market is way too saturated in the area I'm really interested.
