Weird Christmas Question

Bah Humbug! I don't agree at all. If I saw a family having a little Christmas celebration in front of any of the DCL trees it would make me smile. Big time! And yeah, late at night (like after 10) there is no one around. I went looking at the 'nightlife' after the fireworks one night and it was downright sad. I say, use the tree! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I did find the cute little Mickey Christmas tree. It was Out of Stock. But here is the link. I thought it was adorable but $42 seems a bit high.

Along those same lines, I know plug in Christmas lights aren't allowed. How about battery operated ones? They don't plug in and are rather small. But festive!

I have seen families dressed in their holiday pjs at the Grand Floridian for breakfast morn …. I bet you see lots of families celebrating in traditional untraditional ways.
I hope you save a pic to share with us from your trip report!

I've seen doors decorated with battery-powered lights and nobody seems to mind, so I guess they're allowed.

Disney also sells a desktop Christmas tree for Christmas cruises, but since I don't currently have one booked, I can't check the price.

I think it is a sweet idea, and wouldn't make me think twice unless they're opening a lot of gifts and tossing wrapping everywhere without cleaning it up. As kids we always made a huge pile as if it were leaves and jumped around through it with our cat and dog so... we definitely made a festive mess which is probably the only reason I'd even think about it! :)

I guess another part of me would be concerned I would make other kids jealous... but a gift or two, late at night, would almost certainly raise no eyebrows.

It's the OP and her wife - both adult. No kids.

There are tons of trees around the ships, I think you can find a private area during off hours to do just this, and I love the idea!!

We cruise out of San Diego what is the name of this item? I'll need the name to search ebay.
I searched Mickey Mouse Christmas tree with ornaments and a few popped up. I live near SD. When the Christmas stuff hits, I can see if it is available and maybe meet you at the ship.
